Jim came out and was knowledgeable, professional and explained everything very well. I answered all my questions and I didn't feel rushed during the estimate process. The day of the service the associates were extremely cordial, professional and took great care in our house while cleaning the ducts. There was no messes left behind and the results of the clean vents was instantaneous. It was one of the best experiences we have ever had with a company providing a service to our home. Outstanding and would definitely recommend the company over any other duct cleaning service.

Jim Gehrling and his assistant were thorough and gave me a lot of advice on how to keep the ventilation system working at its best. My husband is comatose and in a hospital bed in our living room and was suffering from allergy symptoms that are doubly worse because of his inability to move on his own. I am hoping that getting the mold and pet dander out of our home’s duct work will help my husband’s condition a lot.

This company finally responded with an email saying they are currently not working due to Covid restrictions. Understandable but they should not be advertising.

Jim came out very quickly and fixed the problem for me! I had been trying to clean lint out of my dryer line and managed to make it worse! He did a fantastic job and I was thrilled with the service and the price! Great company!!!

Jim came by to check the job out and was very honest with us as to the need to have the ducts cleaned. Although it didn’t completely solve our problem, odor coming from the ducts, they did a great job. Things that were moved were replaced and they cleaned up after the job was done.

They were excellent!! They found that my return in the attic was not connected, there was insulation in the vent returns; they took pictures so that I could prove to HVAC company to make repairs. They found a larger bird nest inside dryer vent; since I was having duck work clean too, the dryer vent cleaning was at no cost. They were very thorough and professional, I highly recommend them and will use them again.

It was super easy! I was able to get a realistic estimate from my first contact with Jim. He emailed me an estimate and answered all my questions about the process and scheduling. He arrived at the scheduled time and got right to work. He explained what he would be doing under the house to access the system. Not only did they clean out the ducts, they took down all the vent covers and cleaned them outside. (My 40 yo vent covers needed that desperately.) Any mess made inside from the work was cleaned up. He also cleaned my dryer vent. He replaced the duct with a shorter one that fit better and fixed where the vent attached outside so that it was attached properly. I would definitely use them again and have already recommended them to friends.

Jim arrived within thirty minutes of my call. He advised me *not* to have my ducts cleaned at this time. The flexible ductwork was fragile, so that it would need to be replaced rather than cleaned when the need arises. He performed a quick inspection, and said that no action is needed at present. The HEPA filter I have had on the system since its installation kept the supply ductwork clean. He did not charge me for the visit and assessment. I know who I will go to and recommend when the need arises. Since my home has 27 supply ducts and four returns, this job would have been expensive. I will forever appreciate someone who turns down an expensive job because it is not needed!

The whole project, from estimate to completion, went great. Jim was terrific to work with and we would highly recommend Duct Doctors to anyone looking for this type of service in the area.

We just purchased a new home. I had always been told: "first thing, get the dryer vents cleaned out" so I arranged for them to come out and clean them. When he arrived, we learned that the outlet went directly outside from the dryer flexible hose -- with no run of duct work. In other words, the service wasn't needed. He offered to refund, but since the mistake was mine, he should not bear the cost himself. Instead, we agreed when he comes out to clean the house duct work, he will discount what was paid. He also took time to go through our filters, making excellent suggestions, and even fixed an unattached bathroom hose to the proper outlet. Integrity, yes, this gentleman has it!

We were very pleased with the service provided by Duct Doctor USA of the Triad. They are very pleasant, easy to work with and did an excellent job.

Jim and co. were great from start to finish! They were very flexible in working around my schedule. Once at my home, they were pleasant and great with working around my menagerie of animals. I could tell a huge difference in the air quality after they finished. They returned all vents to where they needed to be and vacuumed the debris on the floor too. I was very impressed and will be sure to call them again in the future when the time comes.

Punctual. Professional. Completed the job in a timely fashion. Dryer has worked wonderfully ever since. One year guarantee on the work and if I have any issues within the year they offered to clean the vent again for no additional cost.

They are fast, polite, professional, efficient and considerate. They weren't here more that approximately 30 minutes. There were two men, so they were very fast. I am impressed and highly recommend this company. The person that called me to set up the appointment was also very nice.

service guys were on time and cleared the vent. However they left a huge pile of lint from the dryer outside on the ground. Would have thought clean up of their mess was part of their job.... Guess not.

Arrived on time. I had questions and they answered them. They were efficient and fast.

He was able to work us in on the same day we called because he was going to be in the area. The time estimate of his arrival was accurate. He was clean. He checked our closets (and all our vents), then went in the attic to look at the layout of our ventilation system. The two vents in question were the first off the line, so they were getting the absolute most air and that was creating a condensation problem at the vent. He checked our filters and explained some basic stuff about them. The rest of the duct work looked clean. He said to run the vent covers through the dishwasher to clean them, and then to use a bleach/water solution to clean the drywall around the opening. He was able to slightly adjust the valve (for lack of a better word) on each of the vents which tapered their airflow hopefully enough to curb the condensation and mold. I didn't even realize the duct work had little valves/flaps where they come off the main trunk (in the attic), because they weren't visible. He felt around on the tops of the foil tubes (ducts) and uncovered them then adjusted them. Brilliant. He assessed the rest of our system (we have around 28 vents on three floors), calculated everything up and quoted us around $800 for a cleaning of the whole house (before Angie's list discount), but determined that we actually didn't need it. Our house was built in 2000, and while there was some slight dust throughout the whole thing, it wasn't enough to warrant a cleaning and nobody in our family is a severe allergy sufferer. He spent around 30 minutes here assessing everything and then advising, and the grand total was $0.00. Amazing. He didn't know we pulled his info off Angie's List. I'd strongly recommend him (and his son). Great service, punctual and he didn't charge us for technically a lot of work, and he fixed our problem!

Purchased "The Big Deal" Dryer Vent cleaning from Angie's List. Didn't hear from anyone for several days so I called them. They responded with 24 hours and we were able to set up a time. One gentleman arrived first and it was a little scary, he didn't have a Duct Dr. shirt, ID, or company vehicle. He just showed up, said, "I'm with Duct Dr., the truck and other guys got stuck in traffic but should be here any minute." Once the guys did show up, they were courteous, professional, thorough, and fast! They did a fantastic job and I was thoroughly shocked at how much they were able to pull out & clean. I obviously feel safer and my new dryer should be much more efficient.
