Description of Work: They have completed several jobs for us since July of 2012. They provided additional lighting in our kitchen area, installed a french patio door to our patio replacing our's that was defective, installed an updated thermostat for the furnace, installed all the wiring and necessary changes to install our TV over the fireplace, and last but not the least they installed a switch over the fireplace to light our gas log fireplace. In each instance they provided excellent service, courteously and professionally. In addition they cleaned up all their leftover debris when they finished the job. I would recommend their service to anyone.

Description of Work: Chris Sampson's company Custom Construction and Renovations did extensive remodeling on my house the last have of 2011 and the first few months of 2012. Here is my opinion in a nutshell: if you have ANY work that needs to be done right and you want a beautiful, functional result do not mess around CALL CHRIS!!!! His crew is fantastic. Clean, respectful, honest. I felt completely comfortable leaving them alone in my house. Chris' workers all went the extra mile each and every day to make sure the job was done right. Here is what we had Chris's company do: First we had them replace the columns on our front porch. This simple job (which was our test for the company before we hired them to do the BIG stuff) turned out to be more expensive and extensive than anybody planned. The columns were rotten and Dang IT! So was the roof. Chris worked with me to design a new shed roof that would look good with the lines of the house and he would take my ideas and make them better! It turned out beautiful! Chris has pictures of the roof on his website. Then we had the guys put in attic insulation, stairs and attic flooring. Excellent job again. OK. Now we were ready to trust them with the IMPORTANT remodeling : the bathrooms and the kitchen. First they did the upstairs bathroom. Chris thinks every step though. He really tries to make a work plan that makes things go as smoothly as possible with as little disruption to the family as possible. Now when you are gutting a bathroom things are going to be crazy and they were but it was done in 2 weeks and the result is just beautiful. Once again Chris took my ideas and made them work.If we were rich, I would have designed the bathroom differently but I had money constraints to think about. It looks and functions just great thanks to Chris and his crew. Next they did our master bathroom. Chris was very patient with me as I kept changing and redesigning the room. He would make suggestions and tell me what would work and what wouldn't . It turned out even better than the upstairs bathroom! It is gorgeous and very functional and I LOVE it! Then it was time for the FANFARE PLEASE: the kitchen. We had remodeled it 18 years earlier and it was literally falling apart. First the roof had to be completely removed and replaced with a roof that matched the front porch shed roof. This was my least favorite remodel as I don't care about the stinking roof however it had to be done. They did a great job. It matches the front porch perfectly . At the same time they removed a support column and made my kitchen into one big room. What a difference! The ceiling was fixed also.Then they replaced the back door. Then they did the laundry room. It is excellent! The kitchen is now my favorite place in the house! It is now a pleasure to use my kitchen. And once again, Chris took my ideas and made them better. I am posting pictures of my lovely kitchen that will say it all. Chris is always supportive of my ideas and takes care of any problems and makes a stressful event much easier to deal with. I think of him and his workers each and every day. I thank God that his company is the one I chose.
