Description of Work: Paid $39.00 service call through Angie's list. System was low on freon. Put in 4 lbs and said there may be a leak SOMEWHERE. Did not locate a leak?? Wanted to sell me an evaporator coil for $2139.00 or a whole new system for $6048.00. Gave me a bill for $250.00. Then left.

We strive to involve and inform the customer as much as possible so that they feel they have enough information to make educated decisions concerning their heating and cooling systems. One of the ways we accomplish this is at a great expense of purchasing equipment that shows customers problems with their systems instead of them just being told about their system problems. So, our process is to use the tools to show customers problems or concerns, document findings, and have customer review documentation and then sign acknowledging this process. The document (service ticket) you signed states different facts then you stated. You signed that the technician used a leak detector and found evaporating coil leaking. We apologize for any misunderstanding on our part.

Description of Work: Provided maintenance on 2 units.I used one of their online coupons. They were prompt and did what they promised.They found a leak in one of my coils and said it would be worthwhile to buy a new heat pump rather than change the coil. My unit is 13 years old. I did not follow through. Their price was a little too high. I will get more estimates on changing the coil.

Thank You for your review. Many times when a customer states that we are considerably higher the main reason for this is the type of equipment and warranties. Our systems come with energy savings guarantees, 10 year warranty on both parts and labor with a lifetime unit replacement if the compressor or heat ex-changer fails. Also, the corner stone of our company is the fact that we share in the risk of doing business with our company. Meaning, if you are not completely satisfied within the first year with our system and we can't make the system right we give you your money back. Nonetheless, we recommend that whoever you do business with please protect yourself by asking to see the companies licence and insurance documents as well as ensure they get a permit from the city.

Description of Work: Representative came, inspected furnace (a glance or two), informed me that he does not perform the advertised service on a gas furnace with a boiler. I wish that i had been able to ascertain this from the information provided in his article in Angies list. |i don't know if i received a refund (credit card cancellation). I don't remember date. No rating possible. Disregard Overall block. I am unable to rate a service that was unable to be performed.

Description of Work: I did the AC/Heat Pump Diagnostic Analysis on Angies List and was very happy. My Heat Pump was making "knocking" noise that came from the fan motor. Rick was very professional and gave me a quote to replace the motor and blade and tried a quick fix to cut down on the noise (which helped a bit). What I liked most was the honest opinion he gave me with regard to the age of the Heat Pump - told me that I may want to put the cost of repair into a new unit when necessary. This is the second time I have used Chrismon and will not be the last - if you want quality, honest Heating/Cooling service - call these folks! I would highly recommend them for professionalism, quality service and fair pricing.

Description of Work: They scheduled an service call between 10-12, then called at 11:30 and when the call was returned 11 minutes later had already gone somewhere else and said they couldn't get back for 2 1/2 hours. My tenants couldn't wait around that long so cancelled the service and called someone else. Very poor customer service.
