Description of Work: General servicing and inspection of combination heating/cooling unit. Technician was very good and even explained to me how the system works. Checked all the ducting in the crawl space to ensure no leaks. I would definitely use this company again.

Description of Work: Chrisman replaced a hot air furnace, an AC unit and all the duct work in my son's house. I was there from morning until the job was completed a half day earlier than estimated at 5 pm. The installation appeared very professional. They laid down a canvas tarp to protect the floor and all the workers were courteous and professional.

Description of Work: They used the visit to diagnosed the problem and then charged for fixing the problem separately. Almost $200 for replacing a part that cost $17 and it took the technician less than 15 min diagnose and fix. Hiring a lawyer would have been less expensive. Paid for preventative maintenance and fine tuning through angie's list and none of this work was actually performed.

Thank you for taking the time to review our company. We hate to receive a review such as this. It seems the main complaint was the price of the service provided. First, I am glad to hear that we diagnosed why your system was not operating and ultimately got your system working. Our service pricing is very competitive with other heating and cooling companies and our warranty's for our parts and labor are in most cases superior to other companies. Your frustration for the ticket price must of came after our service was provided as we never proceed without informing the customer what the problem is (showing them in most cases) and what it would cost to resolve their issues. Only upon your approval of the cost would the technician proceed. Finally, I would be willing to have a technician come to your location and check to see if the prior technician thoroughly preformed the service you purchase from Angie's List and ensure you received what you paid for. Thanks again for your time and review.

Description of Work: Paid for an AC tune-up and was told that we needed an entire new unit because our condenser coil was cracked. We were given an estimate of ~$9000 to replace the whole HVAC system. We ended up going with another provider this time because their cost estimate was more in line with our budget. However, Crismon was very kind, punctual and professional for the work they did and I would consider using them again for HVAC servicing.

When it comes to replacing systems in many cases we are not the lowest or the highest quote customers receive. We like to feel however that we offer the best value. Our replacement systems come with 10 years parts and labor warranties and with Lifetime Unit replacement if a compressor or heat exchanger fails. In essence, our systems could be the last system that a homeowner would ever purchase and we feel that makes us the best value. Description of Work: Inspected the AC unit for my upstairs zone; technician informed me there was lots of black mold due to excessive moisture, and due to the age of the unit, recommended a replacement unit, and gave me pricing estimates. I later checked the AC coils and did not see the black mold the technician spoke of, but did see the excessive moisture and that my drip pan was overfull and leaking.
