Overall there work was good.

The overall job was done professionally, as I stated earlier. All happened has quoted and stated to me ahead of time and I couldn't be happier.

Original appointment cancelled and rescheduled for next day due to a sick call. The Representative was late the next day by over 1-1/2 hours and did not call until 15 minutes after the appointment time to advise us of the delay. Again, what seemed a valid reason was provided. He reviewed the work we wanted done in our home and proceeded to show us the difference between Champion windows and other brands. I was convinced the quality of the windows did appear to be better, but I could tell he was justifying an expensive estimate even before he provided me with the bottom line.I received a nice folder with various information about Champion windows inside, including a CD, but his written estimate was no more than notes he wrote out on the back of a work order form. I had read about transferring the lifetime warranty to a buyer if I were to sell the home, but I had questions about whether there would be a limit as to the warranty time after the transfer. He could not answer the question. After receiving what was apparently his best offer giving us 20% off (because he was late) and 5% off for paying in cash, I mentioned the offer (by Greensboro Champion) for windows at $25 each through Angie's List. He said that is what he is giving me with the 20% off. I did not argue with him and let him go. Because I am interested in the quality of these windows and because I am interested in taking advantage of the offer provided to Angie's List members, I will probably order windows from this company. However, we may not get the full warranty that Champion offers. Frankly, the offer is somewhat confusing as I believe I would only be buying windows, but maybe I am also getting their installation? Because I don't have the window measurements needed yet, I have not followed through with the order to see what will happen. It could be that after I buy the windows, I will be scheduled for another estimate to do the rest of the work?

My experience with Champion throughout the years has been professional and very rewarding. I would highly recommend Champion to everyone.

As previously described. Everything went as planned. We have no complaints. Good quality materials used. Installation was done efficiently and on time. Champion employees were courteous and competent. We would recommend Champion to others.

They were on time, great information. Good price. Installation was great. Left every thing clean a good experience.

After purchasing the new door (we gave the salesman a 25% deposit), a technician came out to take measurements a couple of days later. The door was ready about 3 weeks after that and installation was scheduled at our convenience. The installer removed the old doors and installed the new sliding door quickly, cleanly and efficiently.

"Everybody" was friendly, reliable, very considerate, punctual and worked as if they were building their own sun room. Very impressive and professional. We love our sun room and so does everybody who sees it. It is our favorite room in our new home. Use it year round.

The construction crew consisted of two builders who worked on this project for a week, losing a day or two due to rain. They were polite, professional and conscientious. They cleaned the work site at the end of each day. After the ledger board was bolted to the sill plate through the outside wall and new footings were poured for support posts, they made noticeable progress daily. In general, the quality of the materials was much better than what they were replacing. As an example, original support posts were 4" x 4", whereas the new posts are 6" x 6". Construction of the support structure included diagonal braces that were not present in the original, and the new staircase has four stringers instead of three. They did encounter some difficulty with railing pickets that split when nailed, and had to replace quite a few due to that. The finished product is a much more solid and reliable deck than that which we had before. There are a few details that I found a little disappointing. The crew had a hard time getting nails sunk to a consistent level. Some nail heads stick up above flush with the surface of the deck, while others were sunk so far down that they left a scar in the surface of the wood. In a couple of spots on the stair railing, nail points came through exposed board surfaces and were left that way. Quite a few of the pickets that partially split when nailed were left in place. We were told that as long as they didn't split further, they were structurally sound. One section of top rail has a surface scar that looks like it was hit several times by a hatchet; that board should have been discarded. The edges of the deck boards were not all squared flush with the outer edge of the frame. As a result, pickets nailed at the edges of those boards do not make complete contact with the frame. The deck and stair surfaces consist of 5/4 board, nailed with ring-shank decking nails. I had expected 2x6 decking, fastened with decking screws. I was not told in advance of those details, nor was I ever asked if I had a preference. Similarly, the post tops were all finished with a 45° bevel, making it more difficult to attach a separate post cap, designed for a flat end. While the deck I now have may be considered the current standard, I would certainly have appreciated being asked in advance so that any design differences could be discussed. Those details, however, should have been addressed by the sales representative or construction supervisor, not the construction crew.

My sun room is absolutely beautiful, the building is excellent. It was a joy to work with them, all the employees I came in contact with were wonderful. I can't say anything bad about them at all. I'd highly recommend them to anyone.

It was great. The consultant and workers did a very good job. I needed them to come back and fix an issue and they came right out to take care of what was needed. The workers were courteous and good to work with. I had used them prior in Maryland 8 or 9 years ago and had a great experience so I decided to use them again.

They did a very good job. They have their own crew to do the work. They also guarantee it for life. They are also very prompt.

We got quotes and looked at replacement window products from several sources, both vinyl and wood. Wood was very nice but too expensive. Champion had best looking and as good or better functionality than other vinyl products. Though they were somewhat pricier, we felt they offered the best value. Installation went very well, done in 2 days except for one window which was wrong size. It was done within a couple weeks - no big deal. New windows have been very nice to use since.

They have very high quality work. We have used them before. I had to call them about my orders. The worker did a great job. He was prompt on the dates and time for the installation.

I've said it all already. Do do your homework. Check into quality, compare other companies. This stuff is HARD, unless you are independently wealthy and don't care about getting the best value for your dollar.

Had a great experience with the Joe Spivey the sales rep and with the office personnel. Great to work with us on financing. Supervisor for the install called informing us windows were in but doors not there yet and wanted to install windows. Told workers would be here between 9:30 and 10:00 am. workers called at 11:00am and said they were behind had to go and recycle other windows. They got here at noon. worked and hour left for a two hour lunch. Windows took 4 day to install.found glass in bedroom were window must have broke and was not told of it. Doors arrived next week they installed inside doors and informed us the storm doors did not fit. Should be fixed and install in about a week. Has been 3 weeks and I still do no have my storm doors. Was told they should be in next week.

When it comes to windows, I do think Champion is a great company to deal with. Their prices seem to be very reasonable. They get the job done right the first time. They don't give you any problems and they are pretty easy to communicate with. I would use them all over again if I needed to. My experience with them was very positive, I am happy to report.

THEY WERE VERY PROMPT COMING OUT TO THE HOUSE. THEY DID A VERY PROFESSIONAL JOB AND I HAVE USED THEM FOR OTHER JOBS SINCE THEN. THEIR WORKERS ARE VERY FRIENDLY AND HARD WORKERS.

I DID HAVE TO MONITOR THEIR PERFORMANCE TO MAKE SURE THAT IT WAS INSTALLED CORRECTLY. THEY DID A WONDERFUL JOB. THEY RESPECTED ALL OF MY REQUESTS, AND CLEANED UP AFTER THEMSELVES.

WE THOUGHT THEIR PRICE WAS A LITTLE HIGH, BUT WE THINK WE GOT BETTER QUALITY WINDOWS. THE CREW WAS EXPERIENCED AND VERY PROFESSIONAL. THEY ARRIVED ON TIME AND GOT RIGHT TO WORK THEY DISPOSED OF THE OLD WINDOWS AND CLEAN UP THEIR MESS.

THEY WALKED ME AROUND THE HOUSE AND IF I SAW ANY PROBLEMS, THEY'D CORRECT THEM. I NEVER SAW ANY PROBLEMS. THEY WERE VERY GOOD, PROFESSIONAL, AND PUNCTUAL. THEY HAVE DONE WORK FOR ME BEFORE AND I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO DO ANYTHING.

I LIKE THE QUALITY OF THE WINDOWS. THEY DO NOT EVEN NEED SALES PEOPLE TO SELL THE WINDOWS, THEY SELL THEMSELVES. THE WORKERS THAT INSTALLED THE WORKERS WERE NICE AND POLITE. I WAS VERY SATISFIED WITH MY EXPERIENCE WITH THIS COMPANY.

YOU CAN CLEAN THEIR WINDOWS FROM THE INSIDE AND THEY COME WITH A LIFETIME REPLACEMENT WARRANTY IF THEY WOULD GET DAMAGED OR BROKEN. THEY ARE QUALITY WINDOWS AND A QUALITY COMPANY.

I LIKED THAT WHEN THEY WERE DONE THEY GAVE ME A FREE CLEANING. NONE OF THE WINDOWS WERE BROKEN DURING THE PROCESS OF TAKING OUT AND REPLACING. THEY DID EXCELLENT.

THEY INSTALLED THE WRONG SIZE DOOR. I CALLED THE OWNER AND THEY CAME BACK, TO INSTALL TO CORRECT DOOR. THEY WERE PROMPT AN ON TIME. THE OWNER IS VERY PROFESSIONAL.
