Terrible !! Sat around all day waiting for service. Scheduled service was for 2pm. Approximately 1:30 received a call from office restating service price. This price was changed 3-times over the phone. Original quote was $89.00. This was changed to $149.00. 30 min prior to appointment price change was bumped up too $189.00. Company needs to grasp pricing better so customers have a better idea on cost prior to having sat all day for service only to cancel due to service charge being too high. For my inconvenience I should have been charged the original quote and then my satisfaction would have resulted in additional service calls !!

Took 5 hours to respond to a 'water of' situation, at 8 A.M. Had to turn off all water to house because shower would not turn off. Excessive cost. I am a long time customer of Central Carolina Heating, A/C. We have used them for dual whole house systems. The service has been good and prices high, but overall fair. Based on my long term relationship with them, I started using their plumbing service. Our opinion of the company has dropped based on their plumbing service. It has been over-the-top in pricing, and uses their position in our whole house service, to extract inappropriate service fees. We have an annual Plumbing contract to keep our system operational and prevent problems. We have used the plumbing service to fix things and replace two toilets. Today, a shower would not turn off. I had turn off all water to the house. This emergency happened at 7:30 AM. I called them at 8 AM. The service man arrived at 1 PM, 5 hours without water for a long time client, DURING THE DAY! The replacement cartridge to fix the problem, sells for less than $40 at Lowes. The charge to repair the problem was $224, for 20 minutes of work. It should have been $100 less. This does not give me a reason to use their service again.

Was unable to locate any problems I had since the unit was put in incorrectly by another company. They didn't notice that the drain was clogged and leaking and that there was no safety value on the unit.

I have a service agreement. They come twice yearly.

Things went very well. They covered my hardwood floors to protect them and they were very professional throughout the process.

We have used them for years. The service went nicely. The technician was on top of everything and did what he was supposed to do. He was nice and sent a report to my computer.

They did well. They are very expensive, but they are reliable and dependable. If I ever have issues with anything, they tend to make things right.

They were punctual. They try to put extra cost on things like replacing this and that. They try to up-sell you. It took them about three hours to do the check up.

They were thorough, they provided a follow up of the work that they did and recommendations for any future repairs I might want to have. It was a good experience. The person that was nice and personable.

I've used them for more than 10 years. I have a contract with them so the visits are $20 and discounted if it any repairs are needed. They always give you a good window, they tell you when they are going to come and they always call about 30 minutes before they come to make sure you are home. They can be very flexible if your really running late, so I like that about them. When they are working they tell you what they are doing and answer any questions you have related to the service they are doing. When they come in they wear booties over their shoes so they don't get the carpet dirty. I have been very satisfied with their service over the years.

They gave me some options about filling the Freon and replacing the coils. They provided good advice. They provided detailed report of the service and recommendation on pricing and anything they found that was not stellar and provided options that I had. I do not really see any room for improvement. If they lowered their price that would be an improvement, but I don't think their price is not unreasonable.

They do good work, but are expensive. They did a great job.

Not well. Within a 6 day period, it took 3 separate visits and 2 separate plumbers to fix a water leak over the garage ceiling. The first plumber wrote in his report that there weren't any pipes over the garage ceiling, despite us showing him that the water heater is located directly above the garage ceiling. He wrote in the work performed comments: “Not a plumbing or HVAC issue.” The second plumber offered to cut the unaffected sheet rock in the garage wall and not the wet sheet rock in the garage ceiling to find where the water was leaking. He did not think it was a pipe leaking since the water meter dial by the street never turned after a 15 minute observation period. These two plumbers' inability to locate and fix a water leak in a timely manner resulted in extensive water damage in half of our garage ceiling. Had the problem been diagnosed correctly during the first visit, the damage would not have been as severe and costly. The restoration company we hired to repair the damage found the leak immediately after cutting the sheet rock where the water was leaking. It was the water heater pipe leaking through the ceiling . While we weren't charged by Central Carolina to fix the leak, other than a $20 trip charge, we feel Central Carolina should pay for a portion of the repair cost ($1,840) considering it took them 3 separate visits and almost 1 week of continuous pipe leaking to diagnose and fix the problem. Steve W. from Central Carolina does not feel that Central Carolina should reimburse us for any portion of the repair costs. In his words, he doesn't understand our logic as to why we want Central Carolina to pay for some of the repair costs. He was not concerned that we were going to submit negative reviews regarding the company.

It looks like they sent out a rookie to work on our system. They screwed up the system and I had to call them back in and they fixed it.

The wok was expensive but they do a good job. The workers were professional and friendly. They left the area clean. They weren’t punctual and they said they were going to be and the price was way too high.

Great. Arrived on time, answered all my questions, suggested services that might be needed in the future. Very pleased with this company and plan to use again.

Excellent response from Eric. Showed up on time and was very professional about the assessment. of the steam shower - which was installed by someone else. Researched and identified correct electronic equipment for the steam shower. Provided estimates of effort via email. Also assessed our multi- unite water heater installation. Original idea was to replace with a tankless water system. However, Eric provided several options including a lower-cost option that would monitor water leaks. We chose the lower-cost option for now, but will install a tankless system down the road and,of course, we will definitely use Central Carolina's plumbing team. Installation of the steam shower and the water heater monitors was very professional and timely. Billing process and follow-up from admin staff was great.

Central Carolina Air Conditioning came out and inspected an repaired one of my AC units. We were trying to sell our home and of course our AC unit broke down right before we put it on the market. They were able to repair the unit thankfully. We didn't want to go to the expense of putting in a brand new unit on a home we were going to sell. Tom did a fantastic job and we appreciated how quickly they worked us in!

The service technician, Eric A., arrived slightly late but the company had called to let us know he would, so it was all good. He got right to work, first on the water heater service, then once completed asked about other concerns in the house. I gave him two small issues we were having with our home's plumbing and he began investigating them. The first he was able to answer rather quickly and he put our minds at ease. The second was a bathroom sink that was draining very slowly, actually almost not at all. I had cleaned it as best I could all the way to the wall but it did not solve the problem; it needed something beyond that point that I could not do. Eric began his work and in short order he had reamed (my word, not his) the pipes and it was draining perfectly. Eric checked all the faucets and toilets, and once finished pointed out a few items of concern in the house...things I can easily work on myself to correct. He presented me my options which included him working to correct the issues, but there was no hard sales pitch when I said I would do them, and I greatly appreciated that. Central Carolina is an excellent company, the kind I'll be happy to use again next time something comes up. They were professional and efficient, and offered me options but with no hard sale technique...that's the way a company should be!

They did a very good job and were punctual. Did what they said they would do. Pleasure to work with and look forward to an ongoing relationship .

Amazing professional installation. Thorough checkups and tuneups. Have had one trouble call which turned out to be nothing, but there was a technician onsite within one hour.

Our furnace went out on the coldest night of the year. We called at 8am, and they were here by 10am to check things out. The repairman was quiet and courteous. He had to leave to get a part but he had us up and running by 2:30. Would recommend.

They have done a great job for us! They have been coming twice a year for maintenance ever since too.

Overall I was happy with the service. I was annoyed when I let them know that a part broke (fan blower motor) a couple of weeks after they warned me that it was going bad, but they did not order it promptly and I had to spend a weekend with no heat. Other than that, service was excellent and prices were reasonable. To make up for not ordering the motor, they did bring me some space heaters to get us through. The price for their service contract is higher than some other heat and air places, but the service was excellent.

our furnace was falling apart and needed immediate replacement due to multiple hot spots on heat exchange and failing blower. we did receive a quote for a rebuild but decided to go with the new system, a 95% efficient 2 stage gas furnace and 14 seer ac unit, along with 2 new air supplys to replace a too-small single supply and an additional vent in a back bedroom. Tom listened to our needs and gave us several replacement options. ,On the first day of install the crew arrived on time, worked as inconspicuously as possible and left no mess. they turned the heat on so we would not have to run space heaters they arrived on time the next day as well and finished up their work, adding the new supplys and vents .Christmas eve the heat failed. A tech came over at the time agreed ( we were heading out for a service and did not want to miss it so the technician offered to meet us afterward) and fixed the issue, which was due to a pump float sticking - the kind of thing that could happen to anyone at any time. we also had the ducts cleaned at a later scheduled time as part of the cost. they brought in a large machine to suctin the lines from the trunk of the ductwork and then blew air from above to force all the dirt to the vac. again, the servicemen were professional, friendly, and highly competent. as to the cost, we could have gone for a cheaper install but this included 5 years of maintenance (about 250.00 a year) so when we factored this in the price was not much different. when you consider the level of service we received then there was truly no difference We would highly recommend the team at CCA for your heating and air needs
