Description of Work: We used Boyland for a 65,000 kitchen renovation. Communication regarding change orders was poor. There is still a new window that was cracked during installation that hasn't been taken care of and a french door that continues to leak. Service provider will not answer calls or texts. Paint job in the kitchen is (4 months later) showing nail heads popping up and poor workmanship compared to the painting contractor we hired ourselves to do the rest of the house.

Description of Work: Added six foot addition to house and renovated kitchen. In general things went well. Knowledgable responsible contractor. We were not happy with how the range hood functioned though, and did not manage to get that resolved.

A few things did not get finished to our satisfaction - the range hood for example never quite worked right. We started off feeling very pleased with Brad and then wished in the end that the communication were a bit better. He is a capable responsible contractor.

+ -1 moreBrad Boyland is extremely talented and professional. He has excellent subcontractors, all of whom exceeded my expectations. Brad even devised a way of performing the majority of the work without ever entering the interior of my home. There was little or no dust and mess. He is a genius! Brad also does some of the finishing work himself and he is an excellent technician. His was the lowest of 5 bids I received and I hesitated to hire the "cheapest", but I have no regrets.
Description of Work: Added on a bathroom to front of house which is accessible through a bedroom. Complete exterior and interior construction and finishing.

+ -1 moreIT WAS JUST AN EXCELLENT COMPANY. THEY ARE A SMALL COMPANY. THEY DO EXCELLENT WORK ON EVERYTHING. THE WORK IS QUALITY AND THEY TRY TO GET IT ALL DONE IN A TIMELY FASHION.
Description of Work: HE INSTALLED CARPET, NEW DOORS, WINDOWS AND THEN TOTALLY REMODELED MY BATHROOM.
