Job was estimated in January but held up until April due to weather and business activity. Once commenced, the entire job was completed in 2 days; 1 day for old concrete removal and 1 day for pouring and grading. The removal work was done while nobody was home although I did catch the crew at the end of day; their foreperson explained all the leveling and grading that would be done as well as the overall design for handling water flow. The pouring day was very long, extending well into the night, working under lights. A large crew of approximately 6 or 7 workers handled the pour very skillfully and used a variety of techniques to get the concrete back behind the house where the large trucks could not reach. I had the day off and spend quite a bit of time observing the work (as did the neighbors). The care with which the crew showed on the job was at a high level as they very patiently poured, spread, and smoothed the concrete as it set. The final job looks excellent including the new concrete curbing along the driveway. We have had several rains since the job and the water drains just as well as the original design. Cosmetically, the concrete appearance is very uniform with just a few areas of off-color finish along the curbs. A different crew came the morning after the pour and did a pretty good job of cleaning up the place, removing the wooden forms, and checking around for stray tools and materials Overall, I would highly recommend Bobby's Concrete based on this job. The owner (Dean) was generally responsive by phone or text messages when we inquired about scheduling or design questions.

Took over a month to get on the schedule but we had the time to wait. The crew came when promised, provided excellent work, and finished up the next morning. The finished product is exactly what we wanted and probably better because the drainage slopes were incorporated with thought and precision.

We contacted Bobby's concrete at the Greensboro home show after getting several recommendations and researching decks, screen rooms, and patios. We had appointments with several suppliers of all three options. Dean Alley, of Bobby's Concrete, came out and listened to our wants & needs. He then provided a photo catalog of completed projects showing variation in stamps, colors, etc. We also wanted a wood pergola with electrical connections in both the pergola base as well as next to the concrete steps. I also had built a french drain and wanted him to connecting the downspout to the drain under the patio. Dean was able to accommodate all our requests. He contacted a pergola builder as well as an electrical contractor and had them contact us for estimates. Dean coordinated the entire project on time and on thin budget. After the patio was poured, there was a concern over the sidewalk connecting the patio to the driveway. Dean went out of his way to make sure we were happy with the finished product. Dean also provided advise on maintenance and upkeep of the patio.

I did not use their services.

It was the hottest day of the year and they did a good job.

Everything turned out beautiful. Efficient, great price, friendly staff. They came back after it was finished to make sure everything was cleaned up properly as well. Highly recommended!

I contacted Bobby?s Concrete on May 3rd after getting the run around from another company. Dean came out that evening to look at the area and give me an estimate. It seemed fair, so I agreed. He said he would put me on his schedule, but it would be about 8 weeks. A week before the 8 weeks were up, I tried multiple times to contact Dean to get an update. Finally, after 2 weeks of trying to contact him I got an email saying I was on the schedule for July 14th and that he would contact me the week before. July 14th came and went, and nothing. I called and emailed multiple times and never received any response. This is not only unprofessional, it?s just rude. I wasted 3 months waiting. Thankfully, I found someone else, and it was less than 2 weeks from the time I called until my patio was done.

Great! The work was performed fast and looks great.

He was pleasant on the phone. But my impression is that they don't seem too keen on getting my business. I find the lack of a return phone call to be unprofessional. I had planned on getting a 14 x 26 foot concrete patio. I'm very disappointed. However, I have other contractors from Angie's List who have given a fair price, and I will use one of them.

He never scheduled my job I had someone else do it.

Dean was a very nice guy to work with -- very polite on the phone, when he came to my house, and when I went to his office to pick out the colors. The gentlemen that carried out the work were equally as polite. The job is beautiful.

originally scheduled for the last week in June. rain delayed job. slow in advising problem/delay. work done on 7/29/13. doing work now. Work not finished

They came out when they said they would and gave me a written estimate. They were overall professional and punctual. I might get some more estimates or I might just decide not to do anything this time.

They did a concrete patio. They are very qualified. There work is very good. They are a little hard to coordinate. Other than that, the work was good.

Dean provided a very thorough explanation of the possible causes and options that we had for repairing the driveway, including waiting for a period of time to make sure that it wouldn't sink further. I felt that he gave me an honest assessment and won't hesitate to call on him should we decide to move forward.

Bobby's Concrete took up the old sidewalk and poured and stamped a new one. They cleaned up all the debris from the old sidewalk and did minimal damamge to the yard. We had some bubbles in the sealant and they came back and resealed right away. It looks great. We get compliments on it all the time.

We called Bobby's Concrete and our voice message was quickly responded to by Dean who we scheduled an appointment with to obtain an estimate. Dean was prompt, extremely knowledgeable and thorough. We had concerns about bringing in a large truck to deliver the concrete (to avoid further damaging the driveway) and he explained to us that they have the option to utilize small carts to deliver the concrete. We made the decision to use Bobby?s Concrete and scheduled a start date with them which would be dependent on weather conditions. We had a fair amount of rain but received a call with a firm start date as soon as the weather cleared. The workers arrived on-time and ready to work at the time we were given. The broken portions of the driveway were quickly removed. Clean seams were made between the areas where existing concrete would be connected to the new concrete. Rebar was added where they deemed added support would be required and the forms made nice transitions around corners. The carport was poured, matching beautifully with the existing area and they even offered to pour a new step in the area for us. The remaining areas were poured the next day, with professionalism showing in their work at each step. We made some minor changes along the way and they willingly worked with us on each one, patiently answering any questions we had. The last day the forms were removed, all the construction areas cleared and the remaining areas of concrete were power washed. Once all work was complete we received an invoice, with a dollar amount that was exactly as agreed.
