+ 0 moreThis was a 5 day job starting with pressure washing and ending with decks stained. We weren't happy with the deck color, so David agreed to cover the labor if we covered the cost of more stain. Very happy with the second finish on the decks. Clean up was excellent. Would recommend.

Description of Work: This company worked with me from a long distance. The work was completed in Jamestown, NC while I was physically in Wilmington, NC. They completed the work over what we committed to. The painting was professional and clean. Great work. The carpentry was excellent. The secured our decking. + -1 moreThe painters were friendly but only a few could speak English which made it difficult at times if the English-speaking supervisor was not immediately available. For the most part, the painting was well done, especially the work done on and around the front door. It did seem to be the case that it made a difference who did the painting. Some painters were very careful and thorough while others were not although they were the exception. Also the clean-up between the windows and the storm window frames was not done well and my deck was a mess with scraped paint on the Trex that was difficult to get off. However, any problems that I relayed to David Long (owner of BEK) was immediately dealt with and taken care of. The owner came himself to clean the deck. Overall, we are pleased with the job done.
Description of Work: BEK painted the exterior trim and windows of our house which is brick. The center section of our house at the front door was completely sanded down to bare wood, primed and painted which is something I requested and was charged extra for ($500 in addition to the original price of $4100). It is German siding there and had not held paint well as long as we have lived in the house. They also painted exterior sides of doors and balcony trim. There is also dental molding around the roof line.

+ -1 moreA team of workers repaired or replaced the aged wood and painted the exterior of my house. They did an excellent job and were very friendly. They completely cleaned up each day (took about 3 days to complete) . I feel that they did outstanding work at a very reasonable price and would not hesitate to serve as a reference for this company.
Description of Work: I requested a quote for painting the exterior of my house. The company provided an estimate as requested in a very timely fashion and was very detailed. Several pieces of wood needed repair and that was included in the quote. Price quoted was very reasonable and included very high quality paint . No money was requested upfront. I was told that the amount would be due upon completion to my satisfaction .
