+ -1 moreDon't hire Allen and Tate as Realtors If you make that mistake; don't believe a word said Carefully read all documents; and get all promised services in writing with a deadline and a penalty to be applied; payable to you; when not completed.
Description of Work: At first the agent was responsive and found what I thought would be perfect. She knew I had a substantial down payment and it would be "quick" money for her. That's where the service ended; and nightmare began. Unfortunately, after moving in there were numerous things she said she would take care of as the seller's agent was in the same agency Allen and Tate as her. I spent the first week being awakened every night by the alarm on the hour; 11pm, 12 am, 1 am, 2 am etc., and the only way to shut it off was to obtain the sellers shut off code. This was never done despite being told by my agent they were getting it. I had to call the alarm company to find out this was the only way to shut it off. For a week I asked and asked and asked. No response until finally someone was sent to disconnect. I think she got tired of being "bothered". No water shut off was ever shown or has yet to be found. I will have to hire someone for that. No "handbook" for association (this is a town home) or the By Laws was left by; or at least not found by me and so I had to print off the handbook, only to find that there were plants I could not plant; planted without getting an OK. I have had to contact the management company on my own and make arrangements. I will never use Allen Tate for anything ever again. This was one of the worse experiences in my life. I cannot imagine a real estate agent so irresponsible and greedy as to take the money and forget the client afterwards. Never again.

+ -1 moreTina Marsh is a great agent. We had to move from NY to High Point in two months. We didn't have any idea of either neighborhood or real estate market around here. We gave her our criteria and she arranged 20 properties for 2 days. She prepared all information for those properties, so it was easy to check them in a short time. After we decided to buy one of them, we were still in NY and she managed all the things like inspections, lawyers, and etc. She checked every details, so we were care-free. Currently we own 3 houses and we met quite a few agents, and she is outstanding.

+ -1 moreLet me start by saying that Diana was/is great! Our home purchase and move, however, was an absolute nightmare. I won't bore you with the details but everything that could go wrong did and Diana stuck by us the whole time. Nothing that happened was her fault but she was always there to help us. We eventually got a lawyer to pursue damages from the previous owners and Diana even came to the Lawyer's office with us, well after the house was bought and paid for. She went above and beyond even though we knew she wasn't getting a full commision (since this was a relocation). Even though our house was purchased over two years ago, she still checks in on us from time to time. She's not just a great Realtor but a great person, as well.
Description of Work: We were moving from Pennsylvania to North Carolina as part of a relocation. We were lucky enough to have Diana Davis assigned to us as our Realtor. She was incredibly helpful and patient before, during, and after our home purchase. She is VERY knowledgeable of the Greensboro real estate market and I would recommend her to anyone buying or selling a house.
