If you are torn between hiring All My Sons or Two Men and a Truck, go with Two Men and a Truck. This was the worst moving experience I’ve ever had, and I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone seeking reliable, professional service. The only positive note was the courtesy of the movers—a middle-aged Black man and a younger Black man who genuinely tried their best. However, from a business standpoint, the experience was beyond disappointing. Initially, I was quoted $175 per hour, later reduced to $140 to compete with Two Men and a Truck. Yet, on the day of the move, I noticed the paperwork listed a different rate. When I flagged this with Jeff, the manager, he said he’d follow up the next day. They ultimately had to refund me because the quote I received was lower than what was on the paperwork. Had I not reviewed it carefully, they would have overcharged me. The move began at 3 PM and lasted until nearly 9 PM—2.5/3 hours beyond the estimated 3/3.5 hours for my two-bedroom apartment, only eight minutes from my new home. Despite my suggestion to disassemble my L-shaped desk, the movers struggled to fit it through my door, damaging my walls and ultimately breaking it down anyway, costing MORE time and money. During the move, it inexplicably took the movers 30 minutes to reach my new home, where they then sat idly in the truck for another 15 minutes, costing me $38 for them to do nothing. Once they began unloading, I directed them to take specific items upstairs. They instead left everything in the living room, saying they’d move things upstairs later. After I found my front door left open and valuables unsecured, I discovered they had left without notifying me, with items still scattered in my living room. When I called Jeff to express my concerns, he became rude and dismissive, even suggesting I should have knocked on the truck door to prompt the movers. His excuses were endless, and when I explained my dissatisfaction, he hung up on me after I’d spent nearly $1,000 for what should have been a $500-$600 job. When I called back, Jeff claimed his “headset must have dropped.” His only resolution was a refund for the 15 minutes the movers sat in the truck and an offer to send someone back on a different day to move items that should have been taken care of in the first place. Now I have to rearrange my schedule for a service that should have been handled professionally the first time. As a professional, I’m appalled by All My Sons’ lack of respect for customer time and money. I strongly advise looking elsewhere for a company that values its customers and delivers quality service. Avoid this company if you value your time, money, and peace of mind.

I gave them a $250 deposit and set a date two weeks in advance. Job was estimated at $2400. At noon the day before the move. They tried to contact my wife 3 times in a 40 minute window. They never left a message. My wife checked her email at about 1:30PM. The email stated that unfortunately since they could not make contact they are going to have to reschedule our move. Since our closing was in a couple of days, this caused my wife to panic. She called them immediately and asked what was going on. Of course my wife was upset at the message and crying. They did not say our date was safe. All they did was that they took my wife's criticism personal. The Assistant Operation Manager just plainly stated that they did not like being dictated to or criticized by a customer and since my wife was critical our move was cancelled. I called, and it was amazing that in less than 30 minutes they already had another job for the moving crew and truck. After reading reviews in Google and other sites. "All My Sons" moving and storage has a below average rating. Mainly for jacking up the price after the move. I would not recommend this company to anyone. They were quick to give my deposit back. I checked 3 other moving companies. All were booked up for at least 2 weeks. I moved the stuff myself and save $1500. No wonder people go Uhaul.
