Scheduling was easy. I never talked to them before. Easy to schedule. Get them out here. They were on time. I liked the staff. They were conscientious. There were stains that were hard to get up. Answered questions about how long they dry. Most of the stains came up. I was pleased how good it came up. I have white carpeting. They had a special on it too. They gave me a special on top of that. I read consumer reports, and they said to hire someone to do the job. I liked the price. I like the way they treated me, and the job they did.

Usually, I check Angie's List. I didn't and this is what happened. First off the techs that came to my house were polite and professional. They also had time to clean the items I had not previously requested. Their work is much appreciated. My issue is with the bait and switch pricing. When I set up my appointment for 2 rooms and 4 area carpets, I was delighted that they could do the area carpets on site and the price was outstanding. When the techs showed up for the job, I was surprised to be advised that all the pricing for the area rugs was incorrect. They had been priced at a 'Walmart carpet price, not designer or oriental rug pricing'. Additionally, all the stain and deodorizing was as extra charge. When I had asked the rep who gave me my initial quote and set my appointment, was the cost it? Was everything included? She said yes, and the tech will go over everything with you, which really meant, the tech will give you the real pricing. Nor was there any indication the pricing might be higher in the email confirmation. Each area rug cost me double what was quoted! When I advised what had happened to the customer service rep, her response was that she didn't know why I wasn't asked about what type of rugs I had; nor was she apologetic. Nor did she explain this was an oversight and shouldn't have happened. Which leads me to believe, this is a common practice. You may think this is a great business model. Tell the customer one price, advise no caveats on additional pricing during appointment set up and then have the techs advise the real pricing when they get to site, but it's not. It's a brand killer. I haven't had wall to wall carpet in my home until this house. I always thought Stanley Steeler was a trusted name. Now, I when I am asked by my friends and colleagues how the cleaning went, my answer will be, 'The cleaning was good, but the bait and switch pricing really ****** me off. ' Please rethink your approach to pricing and customer service.

I was very pleased with all aspects of their service. I will be calling on them again to clean other carpeted ares.

Arrived promptly. Technicians were very friendly and professional.

We have used them several times. We have a dog, so the process is much better for the carpets. They are professional, and they go above and beyond. I called them that morning, and they came out on time that afternoon.

The service was great! I kick myself that I didn't go back with them. They couldn't improve over what they had, they were just good. They went above and beyond. They were very efficient, they guys were just good, they did their job, they didn't bother anybody, and they were great. Their price was good, and their quality was good.

It went well. They were punctual and professional. See above. I am having them back to cover same area plus additional tomorrow.

He was excellent and did a very nice job. He was on time and very prompt. I would recommend them.

Two men arrived and proceeded to inspect the carpets for stains to be treated. They were careful and courteous. They cleaned all the carpeting and applied their stain resistant product. They also place plastic underneath all the chairs and furniture to prevent any staining. I will definitely use them again.

They arrived on-time, worked efficiently and quickly. The carpets were deodorized (moved into a new house-previous owners were elderly and had dogs) and cleaned within an hour. The odors are gone and it has been more than a month since they were cleaned.

I scheduled an appointment with Stanley Steemer to clean my carpets two days prior to a party. I had requested the appointment between 5 and 7 p.m. I called at 3:30 the day of the appointment to re-confirm and was told I was the next client on their list. They NEVER showed up for the appointment. I called the local office, but alas, they were gone for the day. The corporate offices basically said sorry they couldn't do anything about it. I finally reached the manager, Eric Delionbach today who NEVER apologized, was completely unconcerned, and just said and quot;Oh, they didn't show up?and quot; When I requested a crew be dispatched immediately this morning, he said the earliest someone could arrive was between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. - sorry, NOT good enough. I WILL NEVER USE THIS GROUP AGAIN. I could have chosen other carpet cleaning companies, but selected them. Now, my house is torn up, I have a party tomorrow and NO CLEAN CARPETS! NEVER use Stanley Steemer.

ARRIVED AT SCHEDULED TIME (AFTER RE-SCHEDULE DUE TO WORKER'S ILLNESS). COMPLETED ALL TASKS, REPLACED FURNITURE, PLACED PLASTIC CASTERS UNDER FURNITURE LEGS, AND PHONED SEVERAL DAYS LATER FOR FEEDBACK AND SATISFACTION ASSESSMENT.

Gentlemen were punctual, professional, knowledgeable and friendly. They walked through every room with me and made sure I was satisfied before they left.

I was satisfied with the job done by Stanley Steemer. This was the first time I've used a carpet cleaning service, so I can't compare this service with others. I got the results I expected: the carpet is definitely better but not miraculously clean. The personnel were friendly and finished the job in a little under an hour. My only quibbles: they didn't move a couple of items I thought they would (bed, table) and they arrived an hour after the 2-hour appointment window.

Provider arrived on time and did job just as promised. Very please with this experience and will definitely use again.

I would recommend them to others. They are very polite and careful. They will even call you and let you know they are on the way.

They were very efficient and didn’t bang up the furniture. They handled everything with care and didn’t soak the carpets, so that no one can walk on it, as some of them do. The carpets were very clean and the price was reasonable. I will use them again in the future.

I was very disappointed in the work they did. They literally arrived 5 min. before the end time frame of the 4 hour window of time which meant that I had to work extra hard to keep my family off of wet carpets-and the carpets were VERY wet, much wetter than they claim they will be a the conclusion of the cleaning. In fact, the stairs did not feel completely dry for days afterwords. The whole house even began to smell a bit mildewy from this fiasco. I know they don't move heavy or big furniture, but there were pieces of furniture that they did not move that should have and could have been moved. They followed up with a phone call and I told them that I was not happy, so they had another higher-up call me. I told him the same thing, but there was really no point. They offered to send a technician back out, but the carpets were cleaned and due to the nature of my problem I didn't really see any point in having someone come out. When they called this summer to try to schedule a cleaning, I reiterated my dissatisfaction. Again, they had a higher-up call me and he said they would send me a coupon to "try to win me back". I received a coupon for $15.00 off. Yeah, I'm sorry, but $15.00 is basically 10% and I don't feel like that's decent compensation for a crappy job. Next time-I'll be checking Angie's List and getting a recommendation. I was told by my neighbors to go with SS, but I won't use them again.
