I hired Ray's crew to run downspout drain lines underground away from 2 houses at the same time plus install a stone patio. They didn't pack the drain line trenches well so I had 3 really long ruts in my yard that face the street. He addressed it once but it still ended up sinking so I finally paid someone else to fix them. He delayed the patio start date numerous times with very poor communication. By July 2021 we were so dissatisfied that we canceled the patio project. We were told we'd get a refund on the patio deposit July 2021, Aug 2021, Sep 2021, Oct 2021, Jan 2022. Ray gave lots of agreements to refund the paver deposit but so far there's been no action.

After waiting for 3 weeks, I reached out on Monday morning and was told they were behind schedule due to rain and that the work was scheduled for "sometime this week." Work pushed to Friday. Friday morning I receive a text saying something about "my" schedule and timeline, and Ray Greeson texts he needs my address to return the deposit amount. Complete waste of time.
Description of Work: Contracted with this company for irrigation system repair. Met with them and reviewed project, then paid a deposit.

They could not have done a better job! Ray Greeson is the owner and he was very involved throughout the entire project. He did not subcontract the project, nor just deposit his employees on the work site and leave. He hauled rocks, dug up dirt and hauled it away, and was the one who actually decided which rocks went where. He had an eye for putting the larger and more dramatic pieces where they will be the most functional as well as highlighted. I had two requirements for the project: 1) The rocks could not be slippery, even when wet. Ray met me at the stone provider's location and showed me different choices for non-slippery rocks. I tested them out and we picked out the winner. 2) In one particular location where a gate had to swing outward over the walkway, it could not form a puddle when wet. This was a real challenge due to the topography and somehow they pulled it off! His prices were the most competitive, too. If I ever, ever need any other hardscaping done in the future I will be calling Ray for sure!
Description of Work: Installed a slate walkway around the backside of our house.
