 + -1 moreThe town suggests that the developer DR HORTON/HOA should put in the drain (that should have been installed way before I got here). But so far I have heard nothing from DR Horton. So I will have to hire a lawyer & sue Horton/builder & maybe they'll get busy putting in the drain. I don't think I should have to pay for it since I've spent enough for this house. Why this drain hasn't been already installed is beyond my comprehension. Before we bought this house I could see that this stormwater was going to be a problem & I told the builder that. Of course he didn't want to hear that. So as of right now this is where I stand, a front lawn a soggy mess each & every time it rains & no one not the builder or the developer ( DR Horton) or the HOA willing to help. I need a lawyer who'll get these guys moving.
Description of Work: I live at the bottom of a development built by DR Horton. As anyone knows water flows downhill & I have a river flowing over my front lawn anytime it rains hard. I have contacted the town to see where I would stand as far as getting the town to install a drain in the road. There is also water coming from the easements all the way down the road. So the town told me to contact the HOA & the developer ( DR Horton) I have called sent pictures written letters and nothing.

 + -1 moreHome construction materials used by this builder were of inferior quality. Had to replace hot water heater, furnance, AC, dishwasher, carpet and roof well before time items of better quality would have survived.

Description of Work: I bought a home from D R Horton and after 4 years I am selling it and an inspector located a crack in the coil. It is still under warranty and has to be fixed by the company. After 22 messages, I still have not receive a response from the office in Raleigh, NC.
