Mold Test Company NC

Buyer beware, this company is a complete scam artist organization. Do not use!!! Run!! I contacted this company after a musty smell developed in one of my rooms. A technician came out and took samples that were then sent to a lab. A few days later I was contacted with the results from a Sr. Mold Analyst from MoldTestCompany with an emergency warming of black mold. He was a fast-talking salesperson who utilized intimidation and boiler room tactis to ?advise me? on my results.. I was then directly transferred to recomended company, Biocide Laboratores who tried to sell me a $3k system with 28 foggers and a $1k dehumidifier. Again, lots of fast talking and intimidation tactics utilized by this person as well. When I tried to ask specific/detailed questions about the science etc, my questions were dodged with more intimidation and fast-talking. Since then, I have had an actual air quality test completed and have no signs of actual mold growth on the interior of the home.

Everything went fairly well. Reggie Saunders did a great job. I had a bit of a delay in getting my report but Austin finally got back to me an went over it briefly and then quickly handed me off to Steven at Bio Cide Labs to offer remediation options.

Technician was great but customer service was pretty poor. They advertise this online system that tracks your samples and gives updates as it moves through each stage of the process, except it didn?t work. Then nobody answered the customer service emails when my results were late. I was using these results as part of a counteroffer on a property and it was pretty critical so having nobody return my messages was extremely frustrating, especially since I paid up front. When I called the technical head he got it sorted out immediately and the reports and data were solid, hence my high rating for the service and low rating for the customer service staff.

Offer low price come on then sell additional needed tests because base price is not inclusive

The calander from homeadvisor does not sinc with nc mold company so important you contact them yourself to schedule the appointment. Communication was good and the inspector that came was patient and respectful.

I learned that after paying $600.00 for test, I would be sent a kit to complete the work myself with over the phone instruction at an additional cost of $1400.00! My husband and I are elderly - we could not have completed the work ourselves.
