It is imposible to get this management company to fix anything. RUN if you are thinking of renting from these people.
Description of Work: Called to get air conditioning fixed at my rental unit....took to months to send a repairman and then had the audacity to ask me to pay 75.00. this winter the heat went out in our unit ...took 1 month to get a repair person.

Promised to reimburse us for any and all work and repairs done to the property. Upon moving out, they refused to reimburse us. By law, we had ten days to remove any remaining items left in the home, on the 6th day, they had everything thrown out on the curb. When we called and asked about our things, they said they didn't deem the items to have any value. Among the items were 3 solid wood office desks! Unprofessional and liars.

Response from DANNY HOOD REALTY
In regards to the repairs tenant was not authorized to do any repairs himself and was never told that if he did do the repairs he would be reimbursed. We never told the tenant to do the repairs and turn in receipts. The owner of this property has a warranty that covers most repairs. The warranty company would have been contacted for any of these repairs. In regards to him being asked to move, he was required to move because he was being evicted for non-payment of rent. The tenant called our office the day before the eviction and said he was completely moved out. He did not mention that there was anything in the garage that he needed to come back to get. On the day of eviction, the sheriff's deputy checks the property and if they feel there is anything of value left in the property, we must sign for the property and give the tenant 10 days to collect the items. The sheriff's deputy did not have our representative sign for anything. The owner's cleaning crew set the stuff/desks that was left in the garage outside. No one from our office told the tenant that the Sheriff's department told us to throw the stuff/desks from the garage away. In regards to the deposit being $2200, the law allows us to collect two months rent as rental deposit. This tenant moved in on Nov. 1, 2012 and never paid his rent on time. On two occasions he had to be taken to court in order to get rent. This complaint and response were filed with the Better Business Bureau. The BBB cleared Danny Hood Realty, LLC of all fault.
