Incredibly well Shane displayed skill and a touch of genius. We had communicated by phone and text message. Shane explained that there are no exterior doors available that are in 23 inch size. If I could find a door manufacturer who would accept a special order that could take months and cost a small fortune. Most likely companies who manufacture doors would not accept a special order for a size they don't make. Shane showed up for the job with all the materials he needed to repair the door. Fantastic! Shane had told me before he came that there are no exterior doors available in 23 inch size. So I said maybe you can fix this one? What he did not only required extreme skill but also a touch of genius to conceptualize the repair. So he was able to repair a door that would have cost me a small fortune if it were special ordered.

Job was performed professionally and on time, as promised. I would recommend this company to other homeowners with general remodeling and home repair needs.

The quality of the work was excellent. The old boards were installed on the diagonal so the cuts on the new boards had to be precisely made. The reason I downgraded the review was that a patio table had to be moved to the side of the deck but when we arrived home we found that it had not been returned in its original position. That's not a big deal, but shows a lack of attention to detail. What bothered us more was that an empty pack of cigarettes was left in the driveway and several cigarette butts were found in the yard and on the driveway. That shows disrespect for the homeowner's property.

The quality of the work was excellent. It was the way the site was left that bothered me. My wife and I were not home while the work was being done. Shane was extremely responsive and very helpful in the planning phase while I tried to determine what all I wanted renovated. I had several contractors complete estimates and he was the only one that did an in depth inspection. Because of the age of my house, my old bathtub was smaller than the tubs available today. He was the only contractor that realized I would have to have a wall moved to put in a new tub. No one else had factored that into their estimates. Shane and his associates removed an old vanity, cabinet, tub, surround, toilet, and floor. He created a custom shower based on pictures I found on the internet. They laid new tile floor, put in a shower pan, built and tiled the custom walls for the shower, created a built-in bench in the shower, plus installed a new toilet, vanity, lighting, mirror, and hardware. Part of my existing walls were plaster that had already been covered by sheetrock, but they were so beat up that he put up a layer of bead board to give them a new, clean surface. Shane and his workers were always friendly and worked hard to get the project finished. It took a little longer than expected, but I think it was mainly due to unforeseen circumstances outside of their control. For me, as important as the quality of the work, was the patience and willingness to work with me on the details that really set this company apart. He always answered any question I had about what they were working on or why something had to be done a certain way. They were respectful of my space and even made sure my animals were ok during the day while they were working and I was gone. I have referred them to others already and will definitely use them for more renovations in the future.

Absolutely phenomenal! Stayed through the night to get the job done so we could have our shower ready for the morning and was also quite once my baby went to bed. You can't put a price on that kind of service and empathy. I would hire Mr. Nelson again in a heartbeat for anything I couldn't manage on my own. Definitely highly recommend this guy, he's the real deal!

great! They did what we asked and were pleasant. I had a little trouble getting the appointment set up but I had purchased the certificate about 4 months ago and did not try to get the work done until now(July). Justin, the owner, was very flexible with everything . So far it seems like they did a great job and I am considering hiring them for future work.

They kind of over promised and under delivered a little bit because they was too busy to get here when they said they were coming.

We had some scheduling issues initially, but the work was worth the wait. They were scheduled to work a total of 8 hours, but they stayed to finish the job and clocked in 14 hours for only $100 dollars more. Charged $20 to cart away the debris from the project. A good experience for us.

Discount Renovations came on the date as agreed; they had to stay longer than anticipated so get the full job done. It was finished that day and done very well.

Mr.Nelson was on time very professional did written quote was very easy to understand the needs we had. He completed work on time clean up every thing and was very friendly. His price was better then several other companies. This is not the first time we have had him do work and want be the last.

I thought the company was very professional and offered a very reasonable price. THe install was done in a very reasonable time and I am very pleased with the overall service and outcome of the project. I would definitely recommend this company for any one in the future. I have used this company for years for various projects and have always received quality service and work!!5 stars...
