Parker Services

I had to take Adam Parker (Parker Services) to small claims court. Two of his ground crew broke and bent my metal fence with the large commercial aerators. After initial contact of the damage, Adam offered to pay 1/2 of the cost of repairs and he would attempt to locate the necessary parts to install them with my assistance in the repair. I denied his request. In a phone conversation, he said the following and I quote, "I will fire the guy if you want me to." Adam said this several times to me over the phone. The owner of this company (Adam) was asking me (the customer) if I wanted him to fire his employee??!! I was flabbergasted to say the least. The employee he was referring to was a black man where I guessed was in his 50's to 60's. He was having some difficulty managing the 250-400 pound aerator machine. I felt for him struggling with the aerator, so I tipped him to buy some lunch after the completion of the work. In court, Adam decided to inject a number of words in some text conversations that we had. For example, several days after the aeration my neighbor was the first to see my damaged fence and bring it to my attention. Adam told the residing judge that my neighbor saw it "happen." The word "happen" was not even in the text and was a false statement. He claimed that I did a walk-around of my property after the work was completed which never happened. In fact, I had to come out of my house and stop the workers from leaving because they did not finish laying straw in my front yard. He also stated he requested for me to obtain three price quotes which also did not happen. Moving forward, after numerous attempts to contact him (he made the decision not to contact me any more). I mailed certified letters with the repair price quote with no reply. I wrote him on his business contact page and he never replied. I finally had no resort but to take him to small claims court. The judge ruled in my favor for Parker Services to pay $350.00 for the fence repair plus court costs, an additional $127.00. Total ruling against Parker Services was $477.00. The sad part of this entire ordeal is that Adam Parker probably did fire the older black gentleman and he wasted my time and his own time. After the case and as I was walking out of the courtroom, Adam Parker extended his right hand out to me. I extended mine reluctantly and shook his hand and he said, "Good fight. You won fair and square." I replied, "I wish it never came to this." While I was saying this, I was flabbergasted by what Adam Parker just did and said. I absolutely do not recommend anyone using this company.
