The staff does not speak much English but they had good communication, they covered all my things with a lot of patience and great care and they did a very professional and fast job, every time they called me they asked me, did I have anything else before giving me the work that I wanted to change, I recommend it

Please avoid this company if your seeking a professional job. I hired this company for a drywall repair, trim work and interior door installation. The drywall is protruding and not blended with the original drywall. The trim is not flush with the walls and the cuts are off. The doors are uneven and the hinge slots were chiseled out not stamped out with the proper tool. None of my items were covered in the areas they worked, so my items were covered in drywall dust. It took days to clean up their work area. Apologetic company but still my home was left in poor condition despite several return visits to fix obvious issues that a professional would have never done or overlooked. These are basic handymen attempting to do skilled professional task.

This is now the worst ceiling I have ever seen. There are paint runs, swirls, etc. They painted the ceiling in a semi-gloss! I paid extra for the wall/ceiling gaps to be taped and spackled; yet you can see the tape thru the paint. The project was not performed properly. My kitchen cabinets were not covered; the refrigerator was not protected; the shower was not protected; therefore, EVERYTHING had to be cleaned to remove the dried spackle and dust. I had my new flooring inside the house; and they did not even cover it before popcorn removal......what a mess I had to clean. They also used MY trash cans for their debris; AND left the trash!!! The project took longer than expected due to employee issues. I deeply regret going with the cheapest quote for this job. The only way to keep my disgust resurfacing is not NOT look up at ceiling when I am home. Lesson learned. I would NEVER recommend them to anyone....EVER!!!!

My husband and I are very impressed with the work done by Mendez Construction. The crew was honest, hard working, efficient, and took pride in their work. They painted many rooms inside our home, as well as the pillars outside the house. They were eager to please, and did an excellent job. including leaving our home spotless upon completion. Though a number of the workers did not speak English, they used a translating app on their phone which solved the language problem. Additionally, Mendez speaks fluent English, and was onsite many times to oversee the work. At one point, they hung a 7' by 9' tapestry on the wall abutting the stairs. It was not a job for the faint of heart, but they did an outstanding job, showing immense patience with my "helpful directions."

Overall we were super pleased. They came out and pulled up and replaced our deck flooring and rebuilt the steps. They worked diligently and quickly. English is not their first language, so there was a little bit of miscommunication, but it was resolved and we are very satisfied. I would highly recommend them to do any projects.

The work crew took precautions to protect walls, floors, furniture, and other items in the rooms prior to popcorn removal. They repaired portions of the ceilings needing any repairs post-removal. They did the job quickly and efficiently, and cleaned up after the work was completed.

The rates were reasonable and the quality of work was past my expectations! Not only did this company achieve my vision for repairs, they enhanced each project by recommending completion of details that made each job stand out. I will certainly be using them again to other jobs on the exterior of my property.

Mendez Construction was very professional and worked hard to repair and replace wall structures in my home. I also hired them to do other renovation services such as floor repair and installation, kitchen, bathroom and room renovation, closet installation and porch facade makeovers. Their team worked hard to meet my requests and answered my questions and concerns. I felt that they charged a reasonable price as I had researched other bids. Although, there seemed to be a bit of language barriers (as I speak little Spanish), the foreman’s English and team assistants were proficient enough for sufficient communication. I felt that the team was respectful and serious about trying to please me as a customer.

From start to finish the work done and communication was excellent. Would definitely recommend.

Hector did a nice job pressure washing our house and redid a couple stubborn areas when requested.

They started work the next day. Fast,fast,fast. Pleased with the quality of the work.

Faustino and his crew were great. Faustino worked me into his schedule with very short notice and did a wonderful job on my deck. Very pleased and will hire again.

Faustino made sure I was happy with what I expected. He took time to listen and made sure everything was what it should be. I will definitely use him for future projects.

We had a punch list of things we needed done that included caulking of molding on door and windows frames and ceiling due to the house settling over time. We also had a extensive molding repair from dog damage. The crew was quick and outstanding. Dog repair looks brand new. We blue taped everything we needed and they did that and much more. Very pleased and would use them again.
