His conduct was professional, the quality of work excellent and the price very reasonable for the total transformation of the appearance of a fair sized front yard. The entire project took about three weeks. He was very good at keeping us informed and reviewing the work progress. If he was running late on a scheduled work day or if inclement weather prevented work, he would phone to let us know the status.
Description of Work: Helped develop the landscape design, built fieldstone retaining walls and a rustic fieldstone path, designed and created planting beds, suggested suitable trees, shrubs and perennials, provided the plants and did the plantings. The work transformed a steep, plain, somewhat barren front yard into a beautiful yard. The work was well done and of high quality. Jeff's landscaping ideas and plant suggestions were excellent.

+ -1 moreI would seriously reconsider using this company. Although Jeff was always very courteous to us, the quality of the work that was done by his subs was terrible. In fact, we feel that we were "ripped off" by his company. They cut corners and even did shoddy work in areas where he didn't think we would see the work (e.g., crawlspace, roof). We have lost hundreds of dollars in fixing their mistakes. Beware!

+ 0 morePrompt, considerate, pleasant describe Jeff Price. However, despite written instructions, the piping for the electric line was not the right size. He promptly sent crew out to and reinstall the proper size no complaints. But used the wrong elbow pipe which Duke Power later discovered. The french drain was not installed with a positive slope, asked to have this corrected and that was done so so. Unfortunately Jeff's desire to do a good job does not overcome his crew's inability to do the work properly or make up for lack of proper supervision.
Description of Work: Install french drain back of house, pipe gutters away from house, install piping for Duke Power to pull electric line underground to meter, level concrete patio under deck to divert water, remove large shrubbery, add dirt behind garage to correct slope for drainage.

Description of Work: THE REPAIRS BEING DONE WERE FOR THE SOMERSET HOME OWNERS ASSOCIATION, IN OUR CLUBHOUSE AREA. BUILT A BRICK/BLOCK ANNULUS AROUND EXISTING FOUNTAIN. CLEANED AND RESURFACED THE FOUNTAIN BOWL BOTTOM. ASSEMBLED THE 5 PIECES OF THE FOUNSTAIN. TOPPED OFF THE FOUNTAIN BOWL BOTTOM WITH SMALL BLOCKS TO REPAIR DAMAGED AREAS. JEFF PRICE AND HIS CREW WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL IN THEIR WORK. THEY DID A FIRST CLASS JOB ON THE ADDED CONCRETE, MATCHING THE BRICKS ADDED TO THE COLOR OF THE CLUBHOUSE BUILDING. ALTHOUGH I ASKED FOR THE FOUNTAIN BOWL TO BE SEALED IN A WHITE COLOR, JEFF PRICE CONVINCED ME THAT A NEUTRAL GREY COLOR WOULD BLEND IN BETTER. HE WAS RIGHT. THE WHOLE FOUNTAIN STRUCTURE BLENDS IN WITH ITS COMPONENTS AND WITH THE CLUBHOUSE. WE HAVE RECEIVED MANY COMPLIMENTS FROM RESIDENTS ON HOW ATTRACTIVE THIS NEW FOUNTAIN AREA IS, MAINLY DUE TO THE GREAT WORK JEFF PRICE AND HIS CREW DID.

I HAVE ASKED HIM TO APPLY AN EPOXY PAINT TO THE GARAGE FLOOR, PUT A HUMIDIFIER ON THE FURNACE TO PROTECT THE HARDWOOD FLOORS, AND TO INSTALL A THERMOSTATICALLY CONTROLLED FAN UNDER THE INSIDE OF THE ROOF. THE CREWS HE USES ARE FIRST CLASS WORKERS WHO REALLY CARE ABOUT DOING A GREAT JOB.
