J&G was recommended by the local distributor of the gate operator I wanted. He told me they were "over the top" work at a fair price. J&G met those expectations and then some. Professional, courteous, prompt, honest and generally enjoy their work. I received a few quotes in the ballpark but J&G was the clear winner, in fact, if I had to do it over again I would pay 25% MORE for their service over another quote given my experience. Frankly, it would be a better investment since I am confident J&G would do it right the first time and stand by their work. Gate operators are not cheap so you want to make sure they're installed correctly. I also had them come back and install a few iron bars on my existing fence panel to meet code. Good work, quick no hassle at fair price. Two for two.

Our wooden, split rail fence was installed by J&G before we purchased the home. We have owned the home for 11 years and over time many of the posts and rails were starting to rot. We secured several quotes for the work but J&G was by far the cheapest. It took some time for us to communicate with them (via email) exactly what we wanted done and an exact quote but once we got that squared away, everything else was a breeze. They arrived exactly as quoted and had the work done in about 4 hours. They cleaned up their mess and did a great job. They even replaced a couple of extra posts and rails that were not on the original quote and we were not charged! We will definitely use them again in the future!

Everything went smoothly, except for a couple of hiccups. We think they cut our cable line, because our internet & phone went out the first day after their tear-down work, and we had to have TWC out to put up a new line. But we didn't mention that to the company, since we got it fixed the next day. Also, one of the gates had a board that was split from the nail, and didn't seem sanded well enough. They did come back out to repair the split board.

J&G was a little above the average price for the quotes I received however I took an instant liking to Joe Mayes and put my faith in him. I also paid a little more because I was in a hurry and they completed the job weeks before anyone else would even start. Workmanship was good overall, about 8.5 on 1-10 scale with no problems that required a call back. J&G did not require a deposit and did not collect until the work was done, although Joe said he has been cheated some recently and might need to start requiring a good faith deposit. If I had any concern it would be that the job specs and warranty were not written into a contract. In fact we had no more than a handshake and estimate that I was not even asked to sign. I am happy with the fence and I would hire J&G again.

HE UNDERESTIMATED THE JOB BY $700 LESS THAN OTHER ESTIMATES I RECEIVED FROM OTHER COMPANIES. THEY WERE VERY NICE AND POLITE. THEY WERE AVAILABLE FOR ANY KIND OF CONSULTATION. THEY DID AN EXCELLENT JOB PUTTING THE FENCE UP AND DID IT IN RECORD TIME. THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND THEY KNEW EXACTLY WHAT TO DO. THEY WERE VERY CAREFUL WITH ALL OF MY SHRUBS AND PLANTINGS THAT WERE BEGINNING TO BLOOM AND DID NOT TRAMPLE THEM. THEY WOULD CALL AND LET ME KNOW IF THEY WERE UNABLE TO COME DUE TO WEATHER. THEY TOOK ALL OF THE DEBRIS WHEN THE JOB WAS FINISHED. HE HAND DELIVERED THE BILL THE FOLLOWING DAY INSTEAD OF PRESENTING IT WHEN THE WORK WAS FINISHED. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM.
