Terrible. On or about 1/26/15, boxes of 3/4 inch solid hickory pre-finished hardwoods were delivered to my house and placed into one room, 6 stacks, 9-10 boxes high per stack. Not once did any worker, anytime, check the wood or the floor for moisture readings. The job took over 6 weeks to complete after being told it would take 6-7 days Before installation was complete, boards were cracking and splitting. A couple of months after completion, cupping issues surfaced throughout the house along with more boards splitting/cracking. Shaw Industries sent an independent inspector to look at my floors. After 2 1/2 hrs and an 8 page report, he concluded that the buckled spots are due to a combination of the swelling from the moisture gain and those rows not being fastened well. Gunn Flooring claimed I had a moisture problem but has never been to my home to prove it. My house is on a crawl space, 100% covered by a 6mil moisture barrier . I also have a dehumidifier hooked up to an Atmox system(atmox.com) that monitors my crawl space by regulating dew point, and relative humidity. Since Dino Gunn was paid in full March 2015, he has never been back to my house nor has he answered any of my calls or texts. The store phone number always goes to Dino's voicemail.....which he ignores. His father, Dean said"he did something to the phones". I personally went to the store 4 times between October 2015 and January 2016. He was there 3 of the four times and always said they were going to fix my floor. On 2/22/16, Dino offered me 10 boxes of flooring and $1000, and told me to get someone else to repair it.....take it or leave it. That offer wouldn't cover the cost to repair one room. From my own experience , Gunn Flooring does not stand behind their work.

They were excellent!. They really finished with the whole floor here but they did the dinning, the living room, sitting room and whole down to the kitchen and I would use them again in the future.

Contacted several weeks ago for initial estimates. Provide rough phone estimate. Decided to hire based upon phone estimate. Kudos to this company for providing deck sanding. Not lot of providers willing to offer this service. Took several attempts to secure visit to provide in person estimate. Some delay in starting work due to July 4th vacation and holiday. But promised to start work following 4th of July. No show on day and time promised. No communication of this change in plans. This went on for another 2 weeks. Primary communication was as result of persistence on my part. Finally, yesterday unexpectedly, a worker one of the Gunn family showed up to begin project. 2 men showed up, first to pressure wash, then sand down entire deck flooring and stairs. Completed job at end of the day as requested. Work was EXCELLENT!! Now I can refinish my deck with a new solid stain. Notes to service provider: You must improve customer communication. You need to keep your scheduled commitments. If something changes you need to call customer with some notice. Your work appears to be excellent and workers very nice to deal with.

They provided a good service. The floors are holding up.

They were prompt and efficient. They did a super good job. They were very professional. They were highly recommended and they have got about 40-something years of experience. We didn’t use them because they were nearby but we looked at Angie’s List and we decided to go with somebody super local. It turned out that they have been around for a while but they were not far up there on Angie’s List.

THERE WERE A COUPLE OF MINOR PROBLEMS WHICH THEY PROMPTLY FIXED. THE END RESULT LOOKS GREAT.

THEY WERE PROMPT & WORKED HARD TO GET THE JOB DONE AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE.
