I needed a couch cleaned on my third floor. He ran houses up to the third floor without regarding for the hoses scratching my brand new walls/flooring. He tossed stuff around as he was cleaning. He got cleaning solution on my carpet that he did not vacuum up. He told me it would "evaporate." I wasn't stupid enough to actually believe that. But I wanted him out of my house. I cleaned the rest up myself. I should have checked him out first. He's terrible.

Worst experience with a contractor of any kind I have ever had. Tim Christmas (owner) immediately encountered problems with lines which apparently hadn't been flushed properly from the last job he did. Then he tried to pitch the "oxy clean" option for a $100 more without even looking at the carpet. He basically just quickly dragged his carpet cleaning machine across the carpet of each room without paying any extra attention to a single stain regardless of size or appearance. The house actually smelled like it was cleaned with dirty residue from the last job he was at. Spent less than an hour cleaning 5 rooms plus a hallway and staircase. I was not happy with the job he did and the people who bought the house were also displeased. When we informed Mr Christmas he only asked if I had mailed his check yet. I told him he wasn't going to get paid until he returned to relook at some areas which still appeared to be unclean. When he returned, he was extremely rude to the new owner and when he was shown the areas in question, he just yelled and said "those stains won't come out anyway!" and stormed out. He then called, began yelling about the new owner and demanding to be paid. Our question was why would he pitch the oxy clean option if he knew the stains weren't going to come out and why didn't he inspect the carpet first and set expectations for what would and wouldn't come out with just a basic cleaning? I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND SOUTHERN CLASS CLEANING TO ANYONE EVER. If Angie's List gave a lower rating than "F", that's what this business would receive.

Tim, the owner, was very pushy. Was quoted over the phone $25.00 and when he got here he gave me some spiel about oxy cleaning and charged me $40.00. That's more than what he advertises for a sofa.
Description of Work: Cleaned one ottoman, quoted $25.00 charged me $40.00.
