I took it to them because I knew welding a cracked exhaust manifold was difficult. Normally I would not have wasted my time on one but this was a Honda with attached catalytic convertor.They said they were the only shop in the area that could weld an exhaust manifold. It did not last. Took back and repeated . Still did not last. Had to buy a new one.

Had a leaking radiator and was hoping it could be repaired. Based on the location of the leak, I was told that the cost savings to repair wasn't worth just replacing the radiator. They did a good job and on time. the price seemed a bit high based on what I could get a new radiator on line but was probably in line with what I would pay to replace elsewhere.

I took my radiator to Sapps to have them repair a hole I "THOUGHT" I had. I dealt with a technician named Scott and he was FANTASTIC. I gave my radiator to Scott at around 3:00 pm and he said if I wanted to wait 5 minutes he would run the pressure test and give me an idea about cost and other options. A few minutes later Scott handed me my radiator and said the radiator is FINE. The small leak I observed was from a faulty petcock. He informed me that Loop Rd Auto has the piece I need and will cost 5 bucks. I asked Scott how much I owe him for his work and to my SURPRISE, he said NOTHING. I insisted on paying but he would not accept my money, he said he could not with good conscience accept money for 3 minutes worth of work (imagine that a auto mechanic with a conscience). I was out the door by 3:20. The next day I took a gas tank from a 1972 Chevy to have them refinish the inside with a lifetime guarantee spray they use. The job was finished and completed perfectly, in less than 48 hrs. I will use Sapps for any Welding, Radiator, Gas tank work I need in the future.
