Solved a problem that ARS had been out to fix three times! Prompt service and attention to details were a plus. Raymond also showed us how to better use our smart thermostats.

After calling the company that installed our HVAC system, they gave us an estimate for over $5600 because our unit was not under warranty. I found RPS on this site. Not only did he replace the evaporator coil but got it under warranty. He did need to replace a sensor as well but the total cost was only $1000, less than 1/5th of what the other company would have just for the coil. RPS Mechanical Services and Raymond are the best. Raymond is professional, quick working, knowledgeable, and honest. This will be our company from now on. Please save yourself time and money. My AC unit stopped working on Friday morning. I called 15 places for repair. RPS worked me into their schedule. Raymond was professional and very knowledgeable. He explained everything and even gave me tips to keep my system operating efficiently. The price was very resonable. I highly recommend RPS if you need hvac repair.

I was impressed with Raymond’s professionalism and knowledge and expertise relating to heating and air-conditioning. I asked a lot of different questions and he was kind enough to take several minutes to answer my questions and explain additional information to me so that I could make an informed decision. We decided to move forward with installing a second zone for the second floor in our two-story home, and Raymond was able to schedule the work within the week. Raymond was prompt and showed up at the times he said he would and completed the work in a professional manner. He put down tarps over our carpet so his trips in and out of the house did not cause any issues for our carpets. The fit and finish of the finished product looks professional, and even took an extra 30 minutes to show me his work, explain how it all works, and discussed various strategies for how I could/should operate my heating and air-conditioning system with this new second zone installed. Overall I’m a very satisfied customer and highly recommend this company! Thank you Raymond!

Thorough explanations and follow up plan of options

Raymond was great. I came home from traveling for Thanksgiving on Sunday evening and the house was cold. The heater was broken. After submitting the issue to HomeAdvisor, Raymond called me and offered to come out Sunday evening to try to fix the issue. He walked me through the steps he was taking to diagnose the problem and the solutions he would implement to fix it, as well as the cost associated with fixing it. Within 1.5 hours, the problem was solved and the heat was running again! The service was great and fast and very reasonably priced. I will definitely work with RPS again!

Raymond, did an excellent job for us! We contacted no less than 6 contractors trying to repair or if necessary replace our 2.5 yr old unit. He not only repaired our unit, but discovered it was still under warranty for parts! 4 other contractors said we had only a year warranty when we actually had a 3(THREE) yr warranty. It did take some time for all the parts to come in, but I think that's a nationwide issue of supply chain! Raymond is definitely our HVAC guy from now on! Thank you, Raymond for a job well done!

Requested a quote for a heat pump early morning received a phone call within a half hour to set appointment to inspect the unit. Came to my house yet that morning. Diagnosed the problem and explained what he found clearly. Called for availability of the required part, which happened to be in stock during these days of things being out of stock. He got it repaired the following day. Outstanding service. I will give him all my heating and air service from now on.

Ray was the best thing that ever happened to my AC units. Hired him to fix a problem with no AC that was caused by AR$. I had him service both of my other units later that week...perfect work. Last year AR$ told me I needed two new AC heat exchangers in the units to the tune of $4K. I did not do that due to covid, but Ray confirmed that my existing units were just fine. AR$ just basically lied to me to fill their pockets. Never again. I will stay with Ray and RPS services forever. Don't waste your hard earned $$$ on another company with no integrity. So long AR$.
