Their workmen were punctual, courteous and truly cared about the quality of work they provided. Hugo, the foreman is a delight to work with. Travis is extremely trustworthy and pleasant in his dealings with customers. He followed up with me every day, in the morning and again each night to insure everything was going as planned. I would highly recommend this company.

Of the four quotes we solicited, we went with Travis because of his professionalism and for being respectful to us. Also, his quote was more detailed than the others. While his was not the lowest price, we believed it was still fair and our meetings and communications with him made us comfortable to decide on having R & D Painting perform the work. As this will not be our forever home, we only wanted to get just the necessary repairs done. Travis understood this and once the pressure washing was done, he and his carpenter came out to assess the house to see what repairs needed to be performed. My wife and I felt that the quote for the work to be done and the price was fair. When the carpenter came out to perform the work with his partner, they were courteous, professional and respectful to our home and property. Because masonite siding can bubble up from moisture, it is not a clear indicator that the siding board needs replacing as when pressed against, the bubbles might be hard. But when tested on a different day, the same area can be soft. Thus, there were a few extra siding boards that I requested be replaced. This additional work was not an issue for the carpenters. When the painters arrived, they were just as professional, hard working and respectful of our house and property as everyone else had been. The crew was large enough that there were exterior and interior painting teams. The interior team put up plastic over the two entry ways to the dining room to prevent dust and debris from getting into other areas of the house. They put down drop cloths on the carpet as well as from the front door to the dining room. Also, as we could not move the dining room table from the room, they added additional protective covering over drop cloths we threw over the table to further protect it. Part of the dining room wall had a mural with some raised texture that they had to smooth out. This part of the process appeared to take a while to do. We were concerned as to the outcome before work commenced. However, the result is fantastic and we are very pleased. As they were finishing up the work in the dining room, we inspected it and found that the quarter-round and baseboard molding under the window did not get good enough coverage. After pointing it out, they immediately addressed it. The dining room looks great! The exterior crew ensured that caulking was done prior to painting. And they were careful to not place ladders against the gutters while performing the work. Furthermore, they covered the dining room window with plastic, They did an excellent job painting the exterior. I did not encounter any paint splatter either inside or outside. During the walkthrough after work was completed, Travis noticed a dent in a gutter downspout and felt that it happened at some point during all the work that was being done. He had it replaced at no charge to us. To me, that speaks volumes about a company and further confirmed that we chose well in having R & D Painting do this work for us. We highly recommend R & D Painting. Travis and team certainly take very good care of their customers.

We experienced a leak from an upstairs bathroom which left a large brown stain on the ceiling in our den. After reading reviews on Angie's List, I telephoned Travis with R&D Painting and left a message. Shortly afterwards, Travis called and we agreed to a time for Travis to come out, review the damage, and provide us with an estimate. The ceiling was repaired, painted, and looks perfect. It is as if we never had a leak. We recommend Travis without reservation. He is congenial, pleasant, professional and we will use him again if we are in need of a painter. Bottom line, if you need painting, R&D is the company for you!

Travis and his crew are a pleasure to work with. You tell them what needs to be done and they do it. We've used R&D to get the house ready to sell and several times have contacted him at the last minute with issues or to work around other contractors work schedules. He has always been accommodating and very responsive and quick. I would highly recommend this company and will use them again as soon as we close on the new house.

Travis? wood contractor, Tom, provided excellent work. I am very pleased in what Tom has done with replacing and repairing the bad wood on my home. Travis? painting crew was very professional, punctual and clean. They even swept the driveway when they were finished. I received several quotes to repair and paint my home. R & D Painting was not the least expensive quote ? and was certainly not the most expensive ? however, I went with Travis and his team because of Travis? keen eye. During his initial estimate visit, Travis pointed out areas of my house that needed attention, which I had not realized and other painting services simply overlooked. I appreciated that. I definitely would (and have) recommend R & D Painting and to give Travis and his team strong consideration.

It has gone really well. Travis the owner has followed up every night to make sure daily goals have been met. The crews were extremely professional and did a very good job.

Painted a three story home exterior. Travis, the owner, was very responsive and I had direct communication with him. All work was done in a timely manner. All minor issues was dealt with accordingly. Only minor issue was that the paint crew failed to paint an area that was not able to be viewed from the ground and minor cleaning after the job was complete. Travis addressed the issues and I was satisfied of the work. Three months later I inspected the exterior paint and all appeared to satisfactory.

Completed all tasks as agreed upon. Responsive to feedback. Kept us posted on timeline for completion throughout the job. Very positive experience.

We are completely pleased with the outcome of all the work. Communication with Travis was easy and responsive. He has a great work ethic and wants to see the job done as well on my home as he would on his home. We had a lot of damage to repair and he was extremely thorough during the initial meeting and gave a timely estimate. His staff was friendly and professional and provided advice and information as they went along. Regardless of the question or issue, he responded to make sure we were satisfied. Our house looks like new and we are very happy!

While his crew showed up after the time expected, they did a great job. Dealing with Travis by mobile, text and email was easy and he always responded in a professional & timely manner. Travis did not have a problem with the one issue I had (posts were the wrong color), he didn't hesitate to change it to my satisfaction. His price was fair and I wouldn't hesitate to use his company again in the future.

I called and left message requesting an estimate, my call was returned next day and Travis came out and emailed the estimate back in two days. We had just bought a house that needed some painting, I had ordered furniture that would be delivered in 2-3 weeks and I wanted the painting done before furniture was delivered. Travis said he would try to get it done but that he was scheduled though mid-Oct.. A few days later he called and said he could get started earlier than expected. I am very pleased with the job. They were here when they said and got started immediately and worked to get the job done. Travis said they would have it finished in two days and they did. The crew was very careful to cover things to prevent paint on cabinets, etc. They were very professional. I would call R&D for any painting I needed and would highly recommend them to anyone.

They gave us a discount for being Angie's List users. The technician was excellent. He diagnosed the potential issue immediately and explained everything to us in detail. He genuinely wanted to help. He did a great job and our refrigerator is still working beautifully many months after the repair.

I was very pleased with all aspects of the job. I thought everyone was attentive to the questions I had. The crew was on time, worked well together and were focused on the job they were doing. Any concerns I had were addressed each day when Travis stopped by. I would recommend this company.

Knowing that we were going to do this work I joined Angie's list and got quotes from 3 highly rated painters. Travis (the owner of R&D) provided the best cost estimate and included some exterior repair of rotted wood and siding that the others didn't.. He took the time to walk around and note some of these issues which I appreciated. I didn't get the impression he was trying to "add things on" but was simply pointing out some issues which needed to be addressed. He didn't pressure me to do them, simply pointed them out. He and the various crews (individual power washing, painters and carpenters) were polite, professional and punctual. They also did good work. Travis was the best communicator I've ever experienced with a contractor. He was onsite several times each day, made calls and sent texts to make sure everything was going well and if we had any issues/concerns. He truly seems to understand that the best way to build a business is to provide good work, for a decent price and to make sure his workers show up on time and do a good job. I highly recommend Travis and R&D Painting and would use them in the future.

Ok. After 48 hours - I called, left message, no estimate. He returned call next day. Apologized - I'll have it by tomorrow. Received 2 days later. He called to Ck. He misspelled e-mail address. Price too high. Chose another company.

I was very impressed from the beginning. Travis came to my home to do the estimate and advised me of a few items that no other painter mentioned to me like how the cracks above the door frame will be taken care of. I had a very professional estimate emailed to me in just a few days. I was very impressed with the detail in the estimate and Travis followed up with me and answered all of my questions. I advised that there were only two weeks that I was available to have the painting done and he was able to accommodate me in that time period. The days of the week changed due to the weather and other exterior jobs the crew was doing but it worked for me because it was still during the time frame I needed it done. Based on my initial conversations I referred him to family and friends. On the first day of the job, the crew of 3 men arrived at 9:30 and immediately started to work. They moved the big furniture items and finished half of my 1700 sf house by 5:00. They were all very nice and professional. Travis came to check in several times while they were here for the 2 day project. My neighbors were very impressed with the great job and are getting estimates as well. I highly recommend R and D Painting!

Working with Travis and the R&D painting crew was great! We have an open 2-story living room and needed help painting the high walls and the walls along our stairs which are also very tall. Travis kept in touch with us while his crew was painting at our house and made sure we were completely satisfied with their work. I happened to be working from home, but I would completely trust them to do the painting while no one was home. William, on the R&D crew even made friends with our dog who can be a little wild at times. It was nice to not have to keep her in her crate while they were there! We would definitely use them again for future painting jobs!

We had R&D Painting perform interior painting in our house. Travis was very responsive to both our timelines and our budget. His team painted walls and ceilings in roughly 1/2 the house, including two stair wells, and fixed a couple dry-wall ceiling seams that had sagged over the years. He color-matched paint from another mfg.that we liked & used quality Sherwin-Williams paint. They arrived promptly within the announced 15min window in the morning and completed the entire job by 5:30pm. Travis checked in several times during the day by phone and walk through. He was also thorough with follow-up after the job was complete. Travis went the extra yard with additional paint that we needed elsewhere in the house, and provided the S-W color code slip so we could buy more in the future if needed. For a minimal cost, he made sure our colors matched by sourcing the extra paint. I would recommend R&D painting and will likely use them again in the future.
