They were great. The guy who owns the company was nice. They were professional and on time. They didn't make a mess. The price was very good.

They were fabulous. I looked them up and read their reviews. I went through their price list. They were reasonable. They were professional and they were on time. The price included equipment and labor. I would recommend them. I don't know that I personally would have the need for them again because I just have a small condo.

They were terrific. They were prompt and knowledgeable. They did really good service. The work was clean and they didn’t leave any construction dust behind them. They were a little expensive but I didn't mind paying it.

Wayne is great! we had him do this work in June of last year, he is easy to work with, shows up on time, cleans up after himself and is reasonably priced! It went so well I have had him back to do 2 other jobs (to pull more cables and install another outlet elsewhere in my house), and each time it goes smoothly. I would definitely recommend him.

Wayne first came to our townhouse and gave us an estimate on the spot. He also gave us an installation date and said the work could be done in one day. He explained what could not be done which was have a single system throughout the house because the townhouse is built on a slab and he couldn't run wires as he could if we had a basement. He also didn't want to run wires through the outside walls because that would involve removing the siding which he explained could crack in the cold winter temperatures. His estimate was substantially lower than another estimate we got. When I called back to tell him we wanted him to do the installation he was busy on another job and said he would call back. We waited three days for a call back and did not receive one, so we called him. He apologized for not getting back to us. We asked for a different installation date and he was flexible with the date. On the day of the installation he called about 8:30 AM and said he was running late because he had to pick up equipment. Wayne and his helper James arrived about 9:30 AM. I had my doubts about them finishing in one day. They were neat, efficient and pleasant. They were even nice to our two yapping dogs. It rained during the day and they put "booties" over there shoes so as not to track mud into the house. Wayen programmed the remote control. They finished up around 8:30 PM. It was a long day for them, but they finished the job in one day as promised. They cleaned up to our satifaction. They were missing one volume control and said they would come back the next day to install it and they did. We are extremely pleased with our new systems. The upstairs receiver is set up in one of the bedroom closets and controls the upstairs and kitchen speakers. Because of the configuration of our kitchen, it had to be attached to the upstairs system. Each room has a volume control. Both the upstairs and downstairs system is attached to a computer so we can listen to our own music or Pandora. We've had whole house systems installed in other homes we've owned and it took days for them to be installed. We highly recommend Home Audio Solutions and would use them again for any home audio concern.

A great experience from start to finish. Wayne is very professional, courteous and knows what he is doing. It is clear Wayne has installed many in-wall/ceiling speakers and knows what to look for prior to the install. I had some grand plans that were not realistic based on piping and stud structure in the ceiling. Wayne assessed the situation, pointed out the challenges and proposed more realistic (and cost effective) alternatives. Wayne is very pragmatic and seems to try to do what is best for your situation versus what brings in the most revenue. He could have gone forward with my initial proposals and made more money. I appreciate that he took the time to point out the challenges and propose alternatives. It was a pleasure to interact with Wayne and I highly recommend him to anyone needing speakers installed or other home audio/video related services.

Wayne was great to work with. He responded very quickly to my initial inquiry and due to the complicated house layout he scheduled a time to do an on-site estimate rather than do one over the phone. He arrived promptly for the estimate and did a thorough inspection of the house to determine what options we had for the installation. The wiring was complicated due to the open floorplan, vaulted ceilings, limited attic access, etc and Wayne came up with several options for the installation. When he came back to do the work he again was right on time, very professional and courteous and VERY patient with me as I sat on the fence about which option to go with. The work took longer than I think either of us expected but he did not rush and did a great job. He even wired the outdoor speakers in the rain! I would highly recommend Wayne to my friends and neighbors and if we ever have a need again we will definitely be calling him.

Project went very well; exactly as Wayne indicated when he came out to spec the job. He partnered w/ a carpenter to remove molding to run rear speakers under (a tricky in ceiling installation b/c in the finished basement. Everything was completed on time and on budget and looks and sounds perfect. Wayne was a pleasure to work with. While I wanted to do this work myself the briefest online "how-to" guide I found online was 20 pages long. When I considered all the work necessary and the importance of protecting my investment in the TV and keeping it from falling on anyone I loved I made the choice to get a professional. We called Wayne and he gave a concise explanation of his service and an initial estimate over the phone. We quickly confirmed that his price was competitive and he has great reviews on Angie's List. We scheduled an appointment for two days later. Wayne showed up on time and reviewed the work area. He explained that even although he had come to my home the final estimate was free and that I could walk away from it if I didn't like it. As the final estimate was almost exactly the initial estimate, this was a no brainier. The install went smoothly except for a minor issue which Wayne dealt with masterfully. The final install looks great with all the wires hidden away. the new AV plates mounted squarely, and of course the TV mounted above the fireplace. Wayne also cleaned up the work are and confirmed that the electronics were working properly. I highly recommend Wayne as a professional installer who can get this work done quickly and effectively.

Wayne came to my home the same day I called. He was very professional and responsive. He quickly determined how to best do the job and started work right then!!. He was extremely patient explaining how to use the universal remote and spent extra time making sure all speakers and remote were working correctly. I felt 100% percent confident in his opinion and work done. You can't go wrong with a professional who is timely, competent, and a truely nice guy. I am very happy and if I need more work done I would use Wayne again and refer him to my family and friends.

Wayne was very responsive and very professional. He explained what he would do and gave a fair price. He even got the sound working on our TV so we could watch it while waiting for all the hookups! I sure appreciated this. I have no doubt (especially with the other reviews) that Wayne would have done a great job. In the end, I didn't chose him only b/c of the reference of a friend for someone else to do the work and I received a VERY good deal with the other contractor.

It went very well. I searched Angies list for recommendations. Narrowed it down to 2 vendors and selected Home Audio Solutions. Wayner Lanier (owner) provided a very reasonable quotation for the project, worked with me on my schedule and was very easy to work with. I wanted someone flexible to allow me to get the best value I could for both the component purchases as well as the installation costs. Wayne was willing to do this rather than insisting that I buy everything through him. Schedule accuracy was important to me as I wanted to be on site for the installation and needed to coordinate the purchases with the installation. Wayne performed the work exactly on the day we planned and brought enough help with him to complete the job in one day as we had agreed. I was present for 75% of the installation and was generally happy with the quality of work. I would highly recommend Wayne to anyone doing a medium sized or smaller installation (which mine was). There were only two areas that I felt could have been better with the experience. One is the size of the speaker wiring that was installed. I did not specify a specific cable size and I was not able to be there for this part of the install. I felt the quality of the speaker wire was not what I would have installed had I specified it. The other was Wayne's knowledge of how the components work and what the requirements were for some of components. For example, Wayne was not very familiar with the Tivo system and how it interfaces with the home computer. So, I pretty much handled and specificied the communication requirements between the Tivo and my home LAN/Router. But, all-in-all, a very good experience and the system has worked great. Work was completed exactly for the cost that we agreed on in advance and all the costs were transparent and known in advance. I feel Wayne is a very honest, trustworthy and reputable service provider. I will definitely use him again if the opportunity arises.

Came to my home and gave me a estimate of the job in full detail. Did great job with costs as estimated and I would certainly highly recommend . Returned two days later (at my request) to make slight adjustment in the wall bracket - which is now fine. Great guy!

Prompt reply to my inquiry about the job. On-site estimate a few days later and the work was completed a few days after that. Excellent job. Definitely recommend.

I just moved into a new house, and needed wiring help. But I was scared to call a Home Theater store that also sold TV's, Stereos, or Home Theater equipment. I don't want MORE equipment, I just want my existing stuff to work in the new house. I did locate a large Home Theater operation from Raleigh. I left a message for them, but didn't get a call back for a week. By then I looked at Angie's List, and located Wayne from all the great reviews he had already gotten. Left an email, and got an immediate response to discuss on phone and select a day he can see the house for an estimate. During the estimate visit, he was professional, was ready to take notes, listened very carefully, made very good suggestions, and possible ways to future proof for 'down the road' tech changes. The quote he gave was quite low. But he guaranteed it. In the past people had quoted me that much just to "hang" a flat screen on the wall. But I was asking for so much more work. Due to his professionalism, I decided to go ahead with the work. I still had the TV, wall mount, and wiring to buy, as well as have the DIsh guys install their equipment. Wayne made a comment I give kudos to. He suggested the Dish guys do all the install first, since they will do a lot of work for free, before having him come in for the final wiring. This took money out of Wayne's pocket, but it was morally upstanding on his part, because it did save me money. So the Dish guys finished; then my TV, wall mount, & 60' HDMI cables all arrived. Wayne came the day after the last item arrived. Again the man is very good about feedback, keeping you aware of his schedule, where he is, and how long it will be before he gets to your home. So Wayne came, we went over all the equipment at hand, reviewed the Dish installer's work. Plus we went over some wiring design and layout issues found by the Dish folks, that I though would probably cause Wayne to dramatically bump up the quote. It didn't, and he worked around all obstacles with nary a complaint. A couple of words about his work ethic. The man can just flat out work. This is the first contractor that I have hired in the last 10 years, that just kept pounding out "the hits". He went from one task to the other, to the other, with not a slight downtime for rest or even a drink. Second, you will notice that Wayne has a good process oriented mind. My background is in Process management, and I can tell by the way he plans out the tasks, that the man has a lot of experience, and is always thinking "next step". All the work I listed above was completed in 3 hrs. It might have taken another contractor(from my past) a whole day to complete. With the occasional belly ache, the occasional outbursts, and the long breaks, etc. But not Wayne. He was always working hard, always positive, and till the moment he left my home, was always a professional. In a few months I will have him come back and install Ceiling speakers, and equipment for the Bonus room.

Wayne agreed to meet "after hrs" for initial estimate, showed up right on time, gave us an estimate, made good suggestions and laid out our options. He gave us prices for each component and labor separately so we could choose to do some, all or none of the work we discussed. He gave us good suggestions with regard to choosing the components. We had him do all the work discussed and he scheduled it for later that same week, arrived on time and worked diligently until he had completed the job. We are very happy with our system.

Wayne was very prompt, was actually early, but he called to let me know he was at my house. He was very courteous and professional. He looked at what I wanted done, asked me some questions, and gave me the price. When I agreed on the price he went right to work. He cleaned up after himself and put furniture back in their original location. I am very happy with what he did. In fact, I am going to call him back for something else!

Everything went great. When Wayne did our estimate, he looked at our existing equipment, listened to our requirements, and only suggested purchasing what we didn't already have - back speakers for our den, speakers for the other rooms, and a universal remote. We felt the price he charged us for the equipment was extremely good. He scheduled our installation within two weeks of the initial estimate and showed up on time to perform the work. Wayne and his staff were professional and detailed. It was one of the coldest days of the year (13 degrees) and they worked tirelessly. When they discovered a snag (the speakers we'd picked out for the master bathroom wouldn't work there because there was no access to our ceiling through the attic), Wayne informed us and already had a backup plan. He suggested using those speakers on our covered porch, using the speakers we'd purchased for the covered porch in our indoor/outdoor screened room, and using the speakers we'd purchased for the screened room in our master bath. In other words, his plan didn't involve more cost, headache (for us), or wait. Later, Wayne discovered that our receiver was a bit outdated when compared to our TV because the receiver did not have high definition inputs. He informed us of this and instead of trying to sell us a more up-to-date receiver, he told us he could do a work around and run all back through our TV. I don't really consider myself a high-tech person, so this would've been a stop for me had I been trying a do-it-yourself job on the hookup alone. After all was installed, Wayne showed us how to use our universal remote and demonstrated how to hook up our computer to display onto our TV. We've moved three times in the past five years and this was the fourth home we've had set up for surround sound. Wayne did the BEST job ever. There's no longer a need to use closed captioning!! We missed an episode of one of our favorite shows and had forgotten to record it on the DVR, so we hooked up our computer, went to hulu.com and watched through our TV. Wayne has also called twice since installation to make sure everything is still as expected and that we're not having any problems or questions. If we ever decide to have additional work done, Home Audio Solutions WILL get our business.

Wayne did the primary work on the job. He is excellent. He contacted me a number of times to see if I was satisfied with the job. I originally asked him to set up the TV with the components in the room, but all of the wiring was then exposed and it looked bad. He came out several additional times, and in the end put the components in a closet and handled the wiring problem. He was always prompt, friendly, helpful, and clear in what he planned to do. I changed my mind after seeing how the wiring looked, and he was fine with re-doing the job. I did get an estimate on the installation from one of the electronics stores--Tweeters, which is now closed. They estimated about double what Audio Solutions charged me.

Wayne was professional and responsive from the beginning. He was helpful on our first phone call with advice as to what to buy and gave prices on what he had available(they were good prices). On appt. day, he was prompt and got right to work. He was neat and tidy while installing, brought in drop cloths and a vacuum, left no mess. We are very happy with his work!

Wayne is a very professional guy. Clean cut, polite, careful with the home and work area. He took great care to explain pricing and to make sure that there were no surprises along the way. Work was done to my satisfaction and I would happily use him on the next job. As a matter of fact, he pointed out a few issues with the wiring pulls concerning the type of wire that was used for the speaker routing and suggested that I let the home builder know that a different type of wire would be more sturdy and appropriate for in-wall work. I was very pleased overall.
