Clearwater Pools Inc

We had used Clearwater Pools for 4 or 5 years for chemicals . Our inground pool was 10 years old and needed a new vinyl liner. Jstin gave us an estimate and approximate time for installation promising before Memorial Day. I paid 1/2 down. After almost a month of excuses and Justin refusing to return calls the liner came in and was installed. We also had a new pump installed. There are 4 or 5 huge wrinkles in the bottom of the pool liner. The light in the deep end of the pool was reinstalled crooked and was not flush with the side of the pool. I repeatedly called the store and was always told Justin was busy and would return my call. He never did. I advised the clerk at the store I would not pay the remaining 1/2 of the bill until Justin came to our home and corrected the problems. Justin came out, told me the pool would have to be drained and refilled at our expense and the light was never flush with the pool side. I paid him in full that day. Several weeks later we noticed the liner was pulling loose at the top of the poolside and I called Justin. He replied that my husband could pull that back up himself. After that he refused to respond to our calls. The pump lasted 13 months. We were told it was now our problem. Then they went out of business and left town. A call to another pool store resulted in a new pump which they discounted because Clearwater's pump was not the correct size to pull our pool. The company installed the pump at a discount because of our experience with Clearwater. I see Clearwater is back in business now in Clayton, but buyer beware!

They had some problems so everything got delayed, which happens and we understand. Actually we had a little problem and it got tense. We wanted them to put in heater to the pool and we relied on them for the location but it was so far away from the road that the gas tanks could not have been placed without cutting down our trees. We wanted them to take the heater back as I didn?t want them to cut down anymore of our trees and so we had a little back and forth about that. Ultimately what happened was that they refunded the money for the heater. It took a little tugging and pulling but we had it resolved in the end. Also, we wanted them to put in lights in the pool that changes color and they had to do it 3 times till they got it right, however they did not give us a hassle about it and worked it out well with the electrician and replaced the lights and it seems to be working fine now. They opened our pool for this year and they did a good job. Also, they have a young lady that runs their supplies at their store and she is awesome.
