A & M Heating & AC

We had a problem with one room not being cool. I called them and had them come out 2 or 3 times, and finally they said they would not come out anymore. They would not return my calls. When they were here, and before this problem came up, I was giving them high "B's". They replace our entire system, and evaporators. They did a nice job on that, but they wouldn't even talk to me again. They didn't do anything wrong, I just can't give them great marks.

Very satisfied with the outcome. The house was not occupied while this work was being done, so I was not present during much of the work to observe the installation of system & ductwork, but it worked beautifully once we moved in and began to use it, a turnkey experience. Twice since then we've had questions (e.g., Can we move the ductwork in one part of the attic to accommodate new attic stairs?), and both times they were very responsive and came out at no charge to me, despite the fact that the work was done over a year ago. I've interacted with both Mike (the owner) and with one of his technicians, and have been very satisfied with the level of customer care I've received. I will use them in the future for our heating & A/C needs.

He came back after some initial difficulties with no charge. Also, he got along swimmingly with our dogs.

I had regular maintenance this summer. Recently I found a leak near the gas furnace because the moisture outlet pipe was leaking. My terminology probably isn't just right, but you get the idea. A&M sent someone out the day I called, and he resealed the pipe.

It went very well. The technician came by on a Friday and checked our system to determine what needed to be done, after which he gave us several options. He told us to think over what we wanted to have done if anything. If we chose to have nothing done he would then send us a bill for the visit the following week. There were no scare tactics such as suggesting that if we didn't get a whole new system we would be sorry later. Very professional. We called them back on Monday and they came out that day and replaced the exhaust motor. I would definitely use them again. Very satisfied.

Air conditioner had stopped working on a HOT summer day. I called A and M. Mike arrived within hours. The compressor was shot after 13+ yrs. Mike gave me a very reasonable estimate on new energy efficient unit for which I could get a sizeable tax credit. I accepted the estimate and they installed the new unit the next day. I have not had a problem since. The new unit runs more effectively then the original unit which came with the new home AND I got a GREAT tax credit! The guys could have tried to take advantage of me, but instead were very straightforward and helpful, describing my options. NO high pressure tactics! Mike and Billy are a couple of good guys, making an honest living! I'd recommend them to anyone and HAVE, with the same positive results.

The job proceeded as expected. They showed up on time and stayed until it was finished. The AC now works far better than before. The inside and outside units now match and I expect many years of trouble free service.

Great. Billy came much earlier than I'd expected (this was first hot day of season, and all hvac companies had a flurry of calls), and corrected the minor fan problem and added freon. All done within 45'. Very friendly guy, and I will use this company for all hvac needs from here on out.

I called when I was having a problem with my system and they responded right away. They came out to estimate the job within 48 hours and took about 5 hours to do the repairs. I found them to be very easy to work with and very competent.

The new heat pump is working perfectly. The installation went good. The workers were very helpful and hardworking. They explained to me what they would be doing. I was very happy with the service.

The new system is great. It keeps my garage warm or cool enough so I can work comfortably out there. It is super nice for me. The service was good. They put in the system while the garage was being built.

We were very pleased with A & M and would use them again in the future if we ever needed similar services again. If my husband and I weren't separating, and if he wasn't living in California, he too would be able to enjoy the benefits of this fine heating and air conditioning unit that was installed by A & M also. The cost we paid through A & M was reasonable compared to other estimates that my husband, at the time, had received. I have been quite pleased with the unit, and I had no problems using A & M.

Billy the installer was on time, very polite and reasonably priced. All work was completed as agreed and well done. Highly recommend. Excellent job.

THEY GAVE ME A MUCH BETTER PRICE THEN WHAT ALL THE OTHER COMPANIES WERE OFFERING ME AT THE TIME. THEY DID A GREAT JOB WITH IT AND I WAS VERY SATISFIED.
