*EDIT 10/10/2023* Michael Sideroni, general manager of 50 Floor Raleigh NC location, has continually ignored my requests for a callback. My husband and I have elected to go with a private contractor for the repairs, since Michael Sideroni has continually proven his dereliction of duty to decent product and customer satisfaction. Homeowners BEWARE. Do not use this shotty company. You will regret giving them your heard-earned money, and Michael Sideroni will pretend to be busy, effectively shoving your valid complaints under his crappy floorboards. ----------------------------------------------- First of all, don't fall for the 4 star rating - businesses can buy reviews. If I could leave zero stars, I would. Our floors were installed a little over 2 years ago, and there has been major separation in multiple places, and I mean huge gaps. The contractors left the job incomplete, not installing trim in multiple places, including around our tile fireplace. They did not leave extra floor boards in case we needed to make any quick repairs. They did not seal the trim near the bathtub. We had flooding twice while they were here; when they moved the fridge, and when they didn't hook up our washing machine properly. We dropped a piece of furniture (not very heavy) and it made a hole in the floor, which we cannot replace because they left us no extra floor boards. We called to get these issues fixed. The customer experience manager was excellent, and she followed up with us promptly multiple times, listening to concerns and responded with professionalism and understanding. The general manager made the call that they would not be repairing anything free of charge, and they would not (at the very least) supply us with the floor boards so we could fix ourselves. He quoted us $500 on top of the thousands of dollars we spent with them already just to fix the hole (which is about an inch in diameter). There is a reason 50 Floor only guarantees their work for a year. We intend to submit a complaint to the BBB, as well as spread the word on Next Door, Facebook, etc., as well as to everybody we know to stay far away. Please save yourself time, money, stress and grief. Do not entrust this poor excuse of a company with your biggest asset.

The workers/contractors arrived early Friday morning (8:30 am) and went straight to work. They were finished around 4:00 pm. I am definitely impressed with their personal and professional (construction) acumen. My upstairs will be next 😀.

This company is as sleazy as it gets! The way their contact is worded...their installers can completely ruin every base board in your house and they are not liable, even if it is clearly blatant negligence on the installer's part. You will be left to float the bill. Once you sign your contract you will never hear from the sales person again, so ask your questions while they are still standing there! The flooring will click and clack under your every step, but they won't care about that either. They will "rip up your existing quarter round and replace with new" but what they don't tell you is the new quarter round will only be primed and unpainted, so you will have to float that bill as well. READ the fine print exceptionally well because there are many things this company can get away with destroying, and they truly do not care!
Horrific experience. We got new floors installed in our kitchen and breakfast room in January 2018 of the cost of 5000. After a week we noticed the finish they placed on the floor was coming up. We called immediately to let them know they something was wrong. First interaction from some lady..."did you put water on the floor" Just a awesome customer service response. We had back and forth for 8 months. Yes I said 8 months 3 different "specialist" came out really if we are being honest to identify they didn't cause the problem. Last report identified they were 100% to blame for the terrible job. We had months past with no contact, excuses on why it was taking so long to fix the problem. They didn't have enough crews to do the work, they were booked..none of those excuses have anything to do with me. Hire better. My husband had to physically go to thier location to get any responses back. I would never recommend them. If you like big box stores, rush jobs and you want to be just a number definitely call them. If you business model is to treat your customers like garbage well done.

The guy who did the sale was good. The people who did the installation, there were a few weird things that happened and they settled it for us. There were just stupid mistakes.

Due to several issues that occurred with 50 Floor, we had to seek another flooring company to install our hardwood floors. We were very disappointed that 50 Floor was unable to install the hardwood flooring as promised. We shared with the sales representative that we wanted to install the same flooring that we had in other rooms. We provided him with all of the information pertaining to the brand name, color and size. We were informed by the sales representative that they carried a comparable brand that would matched the existing flooring that we have in our other rooms. However, when we received the hardwood flooring; the total number of pieces delivered were much less then what was quoted to us and the color was totally different from the sample that they provided. After several attempts to resolve the issue, they decided that it would be in the best interest of all parties not to proceed further in order to avoid an unhappy customer. This decision was based upon 50 Floor recognizing that their comparable flooring did not match the existing flooring in our other rooms. What it all came down to was 50 Floor did not carry a comparable stain to match our existing flooring and to further complicate matters, the sale person did not provide the correct square footage to complete the job. If a comparable stain was provided and the correct square footage was sent this would cost 50 Floor more. On a positive note, in lieu of the situation and how frustrated we were with the North Carolina office, I wanted to share that Erica Grimes from the scheduling department provided outstanding customer service and Santos Aleman, the Quality Control Manager, was awesome by providing empathy and support while trying to resolve these issues. Both of these individuals are from the Atlanta, Georgia office.

The tile did not come on time. The grout was back ordered and we are still waiting. The hardwood floors look beautiful. I was promised it would be a one day installation, and the men worked from 8:30 am until the job was done at 11:45 pm. They installed them throughout the entire house, except the sunroom, where the tile is going. They were very through and nice. I am just very disappointed in the tile so far. We expected them in last week and are still waiting.

Description of Work: The in-home estimate with samples was a great experience. Soon after, two crews installed all new flooring (wood laminate & carpet) on the downstairs level and stairwell of our home. They did a great & quick job! Their prices were a bit higher, but the local competitor we considered had bad online reviews. We're happy with the outcome. :)

From the sales representative through to the amazingly hard-working installers, the professionalism was awesome. I couldn't be more pleased.
