Ridge Valley Fuquay Roofing

A guy named Aaron came to my house to give me a free inspection and said I needed new shingles and that insurance might pay for it. I asked for a quote and he came back a few days later. It was on the high side. We called my insurance company to set up a claim and then he asked me to sign a piece of paper. I started reading to see what I was signing and it said that if the insurance agreed to pay 100% for the roof that I had to agree to let their company replace my roof or else I would be responsible to pay them 20% of whatever the insurance paid. When I asked Aaron about it he said that isn't true and that all signing the paper meant was that they would meet with the insurance person. I grilled him on it and he kept saying the same so I wrote a note on the contract saying I only agreed to have the insurance person come out and then signed it. The next day I called their office to find out for sure and the office confirmed what I thought was correct. Bottom line is that Aaron flat out lied to me in order to get me to sign. Luckily I figured this out and I canceled business with them immediately. These guys are not ethical.
