+ 0 moreI purchased a new home constructed by John Dunning Custom Homes and the work was provided by this company. They refuses to honor their signed warranty agreement and fix any items identified at the walkthrough and found by a professional home inspector. They refuse to return to address items that were not correctly installed.

+ -1 moreI called Ryan around 11:30 am today at the number in your entry and immediately was able to talk to him. I explained what we needed to have done and asked him when we could schedule an appointment. He asked me my address and then told me he was just finishing up a job in t;he area and would we like for him to drop by and discuss our projects and cost. He arrive around an hour later. After going over the list of items we wanted, he gave us a very reasonable price. Three hours later he was finished and we were extremely please with the work he and his crew had done. My wife discussed some future lighting projects and he gave us some great idea and pricing. I would highly recommend this company to anyone.
Description of Work: We needed to have several electrical problems fixed including installing a new driveway post light, installing additional exterior WP receptacles, fixing a circuit that was tripping the breaker during rain storms, and getting some ideas on potential other projects.

+ -1 moreThey did an excellent job in understanding what our needs were. Particularly, they took effort to reduce the amount of the sheet rock. It was an absolute minimal job in having to do any sheet rock. I would absolutely use them in the future.
Description of Work: I have used Richard's And Son Electrical Service. They totally rewired our house. They removed the aluminum wiring and put in the new copper wiring.

+ 1 moreCame promptly to give us an estimate, scheduled the work for 2 days later, arrived on time, worked straight thru with a short break for lunch, worked hard, and were neat. We are very pleased and will use them again ourselves and will recommend them to neighbors. They were courteous, respectful, friendly, and more than willing to tell me the details of what they were doing when I asked
Description of Work: Work Performed: New GFCI outlets installed in kitchen, relocated a receptacle in kitchen that was inaccessible, installed chandelier in entry way with 18 foot ceiling, installed new bathroom fan with added wire and switches for each - fan/light/nightlight, replaced halogen ceiling 'can' lights with LED dimmable can lights, can lights and 2 pendant lights in kitchen were on same switch - they rewired so pendant lights on separate switch. Had used one of the Angies list highest rated electricians a few weeks prior and the job was never completed, i.e., the receptacle was not relocated and the chandelier was not installed and 5 of the ceiling 'can' lights on the estimate were not installed yet the final bill was almost the same as the estimate that included those items (would never use them again). Richard's and Sons were on-time, worked very hard and we couldn't be happier. We will use them for additional electrical projects we have in mind (lights on garage exterior, flood light in back yard, etc). Would highly recommend them and will be recommending them to neighbors.

+ -1 moreAs I said -- they came the same day that I called, got the work done, and were very courteous.
Description of Work: I had been having trouble with a kitchen light fixture. I had it fixed about a year ago and it immediately started flickering and burning through bulbs again and, mostly, I just lived with it. I got the name of this company and decided to call them. They came out that day, discovered that the ballast had never been replaced and was an older type. The young man apologized for not having that type on the truck but he left and, very soon after, came back with one and some new bulbs and it was quickly completed. The work was fast and the light hasn't given me any trouble since.
