Tim rebuilt a closet for us. He did a beautiful job - it's probably the nicest part of our house now. He guided us in making all of the best choices for the new closet. He did very high quality work down to every little detail. I would absolutely hire him again.

I had an accident during the holidays and needed some drywall repair. I have used a few different companies in the past that did ok work, but I noticed Tim was in our neighborhood so sent him a message. He responded quickly and set up a time to come take a look at the job and give me a quote. My wife works nights so I had to work around her schedule and Tim was super easy to work with. He came over one morning and did the majority of the work and the next morning finished up. Tim is very respectful, courteous and super knowledgeable. He explained what he was going to do and why. I didn’t want to do the job and waited a while as others who have done work in the past had dust all over the house, even when they said it wouldn’t be bad at all. Well, Tim is the first one I can say honored that sentiment. After his initial work prior to sanding, his work looked more finished than others I’ve seen when finished ready for paint. The sanding was very minimal and literally no dust anywhere. It is the cleanest and best work I’ve seen and will get my business again. I couldn’t recommend him enough. Quality work from a quality guy.

My husband and I finally [2019] replaced the old polybutylene pipes throughout our circa 1987 two-story home. Part of the project required the plumbers to cut gaping holes in the upstairs and downstairs walls, as well as the kitchen ceiling. My husband called Tim Kiessling to handle the drywall repair. From that first telephone contact, Tim was such a professional! He takes pride in his industry, in his [Festool] equipment, and [rightly so!] in the exceptional quality of his work. Throughout the process, Tim responded promptly to every inquiry, and made the effort to educate both my husband and me on drywall replacement and repair. In fact, Tim made excellent costs-saving suggestions along the way [including self-patching a small hole with a wine cork versus the more costly alternative of removing and replacing the drywall behind a toilet.] And, he never left a dust-mess behind. Neither my husband nor I have much [any!] home renovation experience; we didn’t know contractors to re-popcorn the kitchen ceiling, nor did we know painting contractors. Tim provided great recommendations for both. I hope Tim and his business are still going strong when I [some day] talk my husband into other “little projects”. Seriously, our experience with Tim has been phenomenal, a true professional and expert craftsman.

We had an ceiling area above the bay window that leaked during Florence. Part of the ceiling actually fell. Tim did an excellent job and does the work himself. He has a painter that he relies on to paint after he is finished. The painter was excellent also. He did everything he promised and on time. I would recommend Tim and his company. We feel like we found the perfect person for this job!

Tim was excellent from the moment I reached out to him. He quickly provided me a quote. Arrived on team each day. Cleaned up after himself each day. Was pleasant to chat with as he worked. The work hides the fact that a patch was applied!

I had my whole ceiling and some walls re-done. There were so many cracks on my walls. Tim was absolutely magnificent! Third generation plaster worker and with amazing attention to detail. Cost is very reasonable.

Fabulous responsiveness and professionalism. A little more expensive than another quote (but not by a lot.). From time of issue/contact (Sunday) to getting it repaired (Wednesday), I was glad to pay a little extra. Tim was great, he responded to me immediately, and came out a day or 2 later to look over the situation and give me an estimate. He was on time, and did a very professional job. I could not be more pleased with the results.

Tim was very knowledgeable, courteous and professional while preforming the work. He skimmed and sanded the seams on the ceiling. After I had it painted it looked great. He was very easy to work with and his dust free sanding is awesome. There is virtually no dust! I would recommend Prestigious Plastering & Drywall because he is an expert in this field. Tim was a one man operation on my job.

Very well.. he came back on three separate occasions. Did excellent work and cleaned up after each visit. After painting the room you can't even tell there was any patch work done - and this was numerous minor holes and at least a dozen larger holes.

The job was done in less than 4 hours (Over 2 day period), did an outstanding job! Will definitely have him back to repair a few cracks in wall from house settling. Ceiling and walls look better than original work.

Tim does good work - fast and reliable. May not be the lowest price, but his quality work is worth it.

We have used Prestigious Plastering and Drywall for drywall repairs at our home residence in Cary at least two other times in the past. Tim is a true professional and an expert at his craft. When we finally were able to fix a foundation problem under our house several months ago, we didn't even consider calling anyone else for the wall repair that was needed afterwards. The section of drywall he replaced had bowed out almost two inches over time. The bowed section was several feet long and on the main wall in our living room, just to the right of our fireplace. It was an eyesore that you would see as soon as you entered the room. Now it looks as good as new, maybe even better! We have two other properties (in two different cities) and we are almost always having an upgrade or repair going on at one of the three places. I can tell you from experience, that Tim is not only the best at what he does...he is one of the best service contractors we have ever used from any field. He has always been prompt in response via phone or email. He is very quick to come out and give an estimate and the quality of his work is unquestionable. The job he just completed for us was no exception. We also like that he uses top notch equipment and products. His power sanding tools have attached vacuums, which cuts down on dust and debris tremendously! My wife and I highly recommend Prestigious Plastering and Drywall and would not hesitate calling Tim again in the future!

Tim did an excellent job. He was knowledgeable, courteous and punctual. In fact, he was early for the second day of work. The repair work in the bonus room won't even be detectable once it's painted.

Work done was excellent and there was no drywall dust. This was very important to our family which has allergies.

Tim was great! It's hard to find someone who is so knowledgeable on authentic plaster walls and takes great care in restoring them. Most contractors simply want to remove the plaster and replace with drywall. Tim's work was top notch, his price was reasonable and he completed the job in the timeframe estimated. Worked with Tim Kiessling (Owner) of Prestigious Plastering & Drywall. Tim was great. Took care of all aspects of Drywall, Mudding and Taping for a large basement finishing. This included approx 5000sq Ft. of Drywall. Including Walls and ceilings for 1100 sq. feet of room space. Included mudding and taping of drywall installed in stairwell by original builder. Tim was extremely responsive to any questions or calls from me. His crews were punctual, polite, exceptionally hard working. The few issues that came up during the job were IMMEDIATELY remedied by Tim. I absolutely recommend Tim and Prestigious Plaster for any drywall work you have.

All of my interactions with Timothy Kiessling were timely, professional, and friendly. He arrived at the precise moment of our appointment on each day. He was efficient and explained what was to be done each step along the way. In fact, he completed work that had not been identified in the initial quote at no extra charge. Tim came over and looked at the job right away and had an estimate to me within a few hours. I really liked him when he cane out and the price was very reasonable so I went ahead and schedule a time for him to do the work. He showed up on time and quickly got to work and finished the taping and mud work in no time at all. We had to wait for the mud to set and he came back the next day and sanded the patches to get them paint ready. The whole process was quick and painless. A few Highlights: 1) Tim CLEARLY has been doing this a long time. The results of his work are amazing and you literally cannot tell where the patches were after we painted. 2) Time works CLEAN. Not a spec of dust for me to clean afterword. He uses a dustless sander and it really works. I'm not exaggerating when I say there was nothing for me to clean up after he left. I've never had a contractor that worked so clean. I 100% recommend Tim. He's good at his craft, he shows up when he says he will, stayed within budget and he's a really nice guy to boot. Thanks TIm!

. Tim called to ask if he could come sooner than originally scheduled. Was pleasant, finished quickly, leaving no mess behind.

At the beginning of April I did my usual garden cleanup from the winter. This year, as I cleaned my "garden walls", the mildew would not come off and the plaster actually started falling off. I went straight to Angie's List. Found Tim at "Prestigious Plaster". He came and looked at my walls. He is the YODA of plaster. A large part of Tim's business is designer interior plastering. After studying my walls, Tim humbly said, "Mrs. Murphy you know what I'd do..............." My husband and I were shocked at his creativity. He told me what texture he would put on the walls and WHY. Then gave me a color chart with a zillion colors to compliment our home. He brought by a LARGE sample of the texture he would use, so we could see it, against the fountain pond. WOW!!!! In two days, he put on a coat of pink bonding adhesive, a gray primer coat, which he embedded with mesh, then let that dry for a day. He returned the next day with a "sage green" plaster. He did a thin coat, followed by a thicker coat that he "skip troweled" on, then waiting a few minutes, he knocked the peaks down. It was very laborious work and the prep was labor intensive (cutting all that mesh to fit circular walls!!!) He had an assistant, Leon working with him. It was absolutely fascinating watching Tim. He was like he a baker icing a giant wedding cake, then putting a dramatic textured pattern on it. The results are gorgeous!!! I wish I could attach a photo so you can see this man's skills. Tim and Leon were the nicest guys. They worked together like a well oiled machine. They were so professional. They worked very neatly, with the pace of a man who had "done this before", all the while taking care not to drop any of the plaster on the bricks in the piazza. When they left, the place was immaculate........cleaner then when they arrived :-) His price was excellent! It was like hiring Michelangelo, with a Senior Citizen discount. If you need ANY plaster work done, this is the man to call!
