Great customer service!! Bill was right on top of things and I was well informed of the entire process beginning to end!! Couldn’t be more happy with my new driveway and walkway!!

Bill responded quickly to our request for a driveway repair. He came to look at the job that same day. He also explained why our driveway had cracked as there were several tree roots which he removed. He also sent me pictures throughout the day. He is very easy to work with and truly goes above and beyond for his customers.

It was wonderful!! He came out quickly, worked with us easily, and it was completed within 2 weeks of initial contact!! He and employees were excellent, and very respectful of the property! We had a very long driveway done and a wrap around concrete slab for a patio along the other side of home.

Bill Orr and his crew were careful and courteous, showing up on time as promised. I appreciated the way Bill juggled the variables--machinery, concrete delivery, and my own enlarging of the original scope of the project. He was pleasant under stress, and did not sacrifice resources to complete the work. He communicated adjustments needed, making sure I understood an added cost for gravel and concrete. Also, he was wise in making known the cost-efficiencies gained from nearby projects which could share resources within the same week. I had received many quotes from other concrete providers but was delighted with the quote and timing of Orr. I highly recommend Orr Concrete!

On a very hot day Bill and his team worked quickly and professionally to remove the old concrete and pour the new. They did a good job. One form on the concrete stairs has yet to be removed. That is scheduled for the weekend. Cleanup was OK, but not perfect, which is the reason for 4 not 5 stars. I will have to remove small pieces of concrete, wood from forms, and other stuff from my front lawn before I can mow again.

Our front porch started to sink about 19 years after the house was built. We hired a concrete lifting company only to waste money and have to hire a company to demo and re-pour the entire porch. We had a difficult time even getting companies to come look at it but Orr actually came out on a Saturday. We did get a couple other companies ...one just wanted to pour over the existing porch (would have caused more sinking and was the worst idea), another wanted us to hire a structural engineer and a second company to help. Orr was the only company that made any sense (was not the cheapest) and actually sounded like he knew what he was doing and put our minds at ease. Unfortunately, once they started breaking up the existing porch, they discovered that the reason it sunk was because it was 1-1.5 feet deep! I am not a contractor but I did drive a concrete mixer and I have never seen anything like this. (Westfield homes now know as Standard Pacific Homes was the builder). I was certain they would up the price because it took an additional day of demolition but he held to his quote. Everyone was professional and the work was done in a timely manner. I definitely will recommend Orr concrete and I will definitely use them again.

I’ve used Orr Concrete twice now (sidewalk on the side of my house and a larger back porch pad for outdoor entertainment). Both times they were extremely professional and did an excellent job with the pour and grading. Will definitely be using again!

Everything went great! Honestly would hire him again in a heartbeat. Showed up on time and did a great job! And went above expectations on making us happy! All of his employees were respectful and all knew what they were doing. Would recommend him to all of my friends and family.

Working with Orr concrete was a very easy experience. Bill Orr was accessible to answer questions prior to signing the contract through the installation process. He's a business man and not a "sales" man. There is a difference. We got exactly what we asked for and are extremely happy with the end product. The work was done efficiently and quickly and his pricing far exceeded that of other companies (pushing for an up sell) and additional charges for unnecessary means to get the cement into my backyard. I have recommended Orr concrete to friends. Give them a call,you wont be disappointed.

Great work, very quickly done, excellent results and value! Bill was onsite with his team throughout the process, clearly communicated when, to our surprise, the previous crumbling driveway turned out to be over 8" thick!!! He was very quick to adapt and update on the revision to the estimate, and I am very satisfied.

This was not your basic driveway pour. The backyard has a lot of slope and required some ingenuity in design. All other contractors said I would need to install at least one step in the middle of a 65 foot patio. Bill (Orr Concrete) was the only contractor that listened to what I wanted and figured out how to make it work. It was a lot of extra work for his team but they executed it flawlessly. WE also had Bill create a lower patio (three steps down from the main patio). This required a lot of fill dirt and rock plus a retaining. We had the guys cover the wall with engineered stone inside and out. There was an issue with the material provided to bill for the colored stamp. Bill took one look and immediately said ; we are gonna re-pour the lower patio. It looks fantastic! This is a testament to Bills attention to customer service and quality. He stayed in constant contact, keeping me advised on schedule (working around rain and such) next steps. I had work I needed to do (irrigation relocation and installation) which he helped me coordinate during the various project phases. As I said, this was a tougher project so if you need a great design for a patio of just a simple driveway install, give Bill at Orr Concrete a call. He will take good care of you.

Great from beginning to end. The quote was fair and the work was delivered as promised. As a realtor my referral network must be strong and these guys have been a part of that for many years both for clients and personal.

Bill was the first person to call after I requested quotes. Without a word from me he outlined every detail that I wanted to hear from other contractors who offered quotes. He even called at unexpected times to simply stay in touch, share details and discuss an ETA for his team to pour the addition to our existing driveway. All good qualities along with his direct and reasonable price convinced me to chose him. I was so impressed at this point that I told neighbors about him because many of them need/want to extend their driveways. I sent detailed diagrams of the driveway extension project to Bill before receiving a quote. The quote was for $5,962 to cover roughly 1100 square feet, mostly 4” except for 5” thick at the end leading to back yard. On the day of the project, I walked outside to say hello but I had to remind him of the 5” at the end of the driveway. He also agreed to use a concrete buggy to transfer concrete from the truck to the formed area but when my wife and I returned to the house, after running an errand, we discovered the concrete truck on our driveway. We now have a new crack in our old driveway. When I let Bill know about the new crack he called me a liar. The majority of the new driveway does look good but the last 3 yards had cracks immediately after it was poured and the cracks have gotten worse since it was poured. When I say immediately I mean that his team just left my house and when I turned around to look at the last part of the driveway I found 10 feet of cracks running in a line. Initially he agreed to replace that area but in the end he decided to blame me for the cracks. He justified this accusation by claiming that the fiber I requested in the concrete was to blame. The concrete company that delivered the concrete stated that the fiber could have only helped to prevent larger cracks. After discovering the cracks I decided to measure the width of the drying concrete and found that we were shorted between 6 inches to 2 feet wide along a 44.5 foot stretch of the driveway. Bill agreed to reimburse us for the shorted square footage, but never followed up on that statement. Due to the cracks I have to delay a retaining wall project until the cracked concrete is replaced. After seeing the finished version of my driveway all of my neighbors who were considering Bill have all found another contractor for their projects. I would have overlooked all of these issues if the cracked concrete was replaced but it’s been over a month and feel responsible to let everyone know about my experience. Since Bill won’t stand behind his work I have been forced to file a claim with small claims court. The value of the problems he left behind amounts to roughly 1/6 of the total cost… $900. To give you an idea about how little he cares about his reputation… his cost to fix the cracked area would have been around $300. I know this because I have a copy of the receipt from the concrete company. I can not recommend this contractor after the unnecessary drama, baseless accusations & insults, being overcharged for the project, cracks in new concrete and a new crack in our existing driveway… most importantly he did not do what he agreed to do regardless if he said it or wrote it down in the quote.

Perfect! He arrived on time, performed the work in a professional manner, cleaned up and all for a good price! I plan to call Orr Concrete for my next project and I strongly suggest you do the same!

Do not trust this man. He talks a great game and makes you feel confident. He does not stand by his work. He quoted a drain and then on the day of pouring talked us out of it. They damaged our sprinkler system electrical and sprinkler heads. WE had to fix these and then he poured concrete on top of one that was still leaking. At some points there were only 2" of concrete where 4" were promised. Who knows how that will turn out as it ages! There is a dip in the front patio that collects rain water. To top it off, he applied the wrong sealer to the brushed finish and it looks terrible! I wish I could post a picture here. Finally, he agreed to remove the sealer but refused to reseal. Trying to schedule the removal has been futile. After several unanswered calls and polite texts over several weeks, I wrote an unfavorable review. That generated a reply! We agreed that he would return $1700 of my payment so I could pay someone else to do the sealant removal and resealing - if I took down the review. Well the $1700 never happened. It's always one excuse or another. As a former business owner, I am not the kind of person to write bad reviews. I believe everything can be settled politely. This experience is so unresolved (and very expensive!) that I feel compelled to warn others. Read between the lines on other review sites and you will see that we are not the only ones who have been burned by this smooth talker who does not stand behind his work.
