Richard King recently replaced our front door and door frame and did an outstanding job. His attention to detail and craftsmanship was remarkable. He was very thorough in his work, taking the time to ensure that everything was perfect. He was also very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions with clarity and confidence. The first thing we noticed was how quickly and efficiently he got to work. He had all the tools, supplies, and materials necessary and got right to work. He carefully removed the old door and frame and expertly installed and painted the new one. He was meticulous in making sure that the new door fit perfectly and that all of the parts were properly aligned. He was also very patient when it came to making sure that we were completely satisfied with the results. He is also very personable, getting along with me, my wife, and even our dog. The attention to detail we saw in his work was really impressive. He made sure that all of the parts fit together perfectly and that no gaps or cracks were present. He also made sure that the hinges were properly lubricated and the locks were securely in place. He even checked the weather stripping to make sure that it was properly sealed. From the removal of the old door to the installation of the new door, he made sure the door was level/plumb and that all the margins lined up. Talk about the definition of amazing customer service! Can you on a Sunday to give a quote. Picked up the door we purchased from Lowes and on Monday fully I stalled the door. And to boot we bought the wrong door handle.... No problem he went and got the right one! One time. Cleaned up everything and brought his own trash receptacle. We didn't have to get rid of anything. Amazing. Definitely will be hiring again for all sorts of handyman stuff!

Richard widened a downstairs bathroom door. The job also necessitated replacing two slate floor tiles and shortening and reusing a no-longer-available chair rail. Richard did a beautiful job, and finished it all within a day and a half. We are entirely satisfied and grateful for his work, and we will also be calling on him to do some kitchen lighting work for us.
