The work took about 3 weeks to complete. Ed was one of the most competent and professional contractors we've worked with, clearly articulating the work he was going to do with us in advance (with the assistance of painters tape marking the areas requiring repair and a well-written estimate), then doing everything he said he was going to do when he said he was going to do it. He did a great job keeping his equipment and materials out of the way while the job was in progress, and didn't leave any debris behind when he was done. The repairs seemed to hold up very well, and we were quite satisfied with the quality of the results.

Ed Ault is probably one of the best contractors I've ever had the pleasure of working with, and that's not a statement I make lightly. He started by working with us to produce a very professional, detailed estimate of the work that needed to be done, marking the exact locations on the house with blue tape indicating where the repairs needed to be performed. He patiently answered all of our questions and refined our estimate as required, started exactly when he said he would, worked in a diligent and professional manner to complete the work, and delivered an outstanding finished product. Ed's name was provided to us by several neighbors who had used his services in the past and were equally pleased with his work. He is focused predominately on exterior trim and siding repair work and does all of the work himself. I think this is what allows him to do such an outstanding job with what can be tricky, painstaking work for less-experienced contractors. (We know this all too well, given we had similar work done with less satisfactory results about five years prior.)
