Description of Work: We had water damage through ceiling from upstairs bathroom. He checked for mold, repaired the ceiling, and painted. He also repaired wood about bay window from leak/rain damage and replaced outside wood on around bay window with vinyl and shakes. Jared was very patient and kind and did a fantastic job. We will definitely call him if we ever need work done again.

 + -1 moreThis is the second time this year that we have used Davis Home Improvement (Jared Davis) . In September Jared came to the house to determine the work required; then, provided a quote. We agreed on a schedule. Jared came as scheduled, put up a temporary plastic containment and quot;walland quot; and began the job. He was very careful in removing the stained trim for reinstallation. This was superb because when the job was finished you could not see any difference in the trim. The drywall is smooth, primed and ready for finish painting. We chose Jared Davis because of our satisfaction with his previous work for us.
Description of Work: Renewed twelve ft long living room wall. Removed the window and chair-rail trim. Removed drywall as needed to remove the original sheet plastic vapor barrier and insulation.. Treated the interior of the wall with Concrobium mildew cleaner and preventer. Installed new kraft-faced insulation. Installed new drywall; finished and primmed the drywall. Reinstalled the trim.

Description of Work: A mildew detection company had removed two window frames, interior trim and about 24 sq. ft. of sheetrock. Davis replaced two wood window frames with new PlyGems wood frames. Replaced a few square feet of insulation; also plastic vapor barrier and the necessary sheet rock. I had purchased new wood trim pieces. Jared Davis connected us with local Sherwin Williams for a good stain match. Jared installed aprox. 24 sq ft new sheetrock, primed and painted it, Installed finished window trim; casings, stool, stops; plus three sections of chair rail. Jared was flexible to adjust his schedule based on other things such as stain match... He also placed temporary particle board and plastic sheeting to protect the openings.

 + 1 moreSome appointments were postponed due to weather. Finally on a sunny day, Mr. Davis was prompt, went directly to the problem, diagnosed the why the door leaked, and repaired it. Previously installed door did not fit exactly and was not correctly installed. Put in flashing, touched up paint. Bill was quite reasonable.
Description of Work: French doors to backyard in kitchen leaking when it rains.
