Description of Work: I contacted this vendor twice to setup a time to evaluate my request for services and both times they indicated they would call and come by the next day to check it out and provide an estimate. Both times they did not call or come by. Weeks later they called me back and I had already used another service provider. Not very responsive.

Description of Work: Mr. Church came out and spent a great deal of time looking over our needs for a kitchen remodel. We really liked him and had decided that if his estimate was even close to the others we wanted him to do the work. He said he'd get back to us with an estimate. When we hadn't heard from him after several days, I sent an email telling him that we'd really like him to do the work, and encouraging him to send an estimate. No response, so I called and left a voice mail saying that if he didn't have the time to write up a formal estimate right then, maybe he would give me a verbal amount with the written one to follow. Again, no response. I made a second call with no response. I'm still confused as to why he spent so much time with me, but didn't have the courtesy to respond. Not even to say he wasn't interested. Fortunately, we found Arc Electric. They are fantastic.

+ -1 moreWhat started out as simply replacing an old oven, snowballed into something bigger. Overall it worked out well when Mr. Church came to my home. He told me what needed to be done to fix the problem and subsequently did the work. I'm extremely satisfied with the service he provided.
Description of Work: I recently purchased a new convection oven for a cabinet installation because my oven stopped working. When I attempted to replace the oven myself, I found that the previous homeowner had straight wired the old oven through the floor and into a junction box underneath the crawl space. I'm not an Electrician so I spoke with the Salesman who sold me the new oven to schedule his Appliance Installer to complete the installation. The installer came out and advised that he would be unable to install the new oven because of the current situation with the wiring. He recommended I call Church's Electric Company. I called Mr. Church, who then came out to look at my home. He advised that he would have to possibly do a little rewiring and install a receptacle behind the oven to bring the house up to code. I had him install the receptacle and his crew also installed the oven.

+ -1 moreI called Mr. Church and explained what I needed. We set up a time for his men to come. They arrived on time. They had to remove the combination microwave and regular oven from the cabinet and put in a high voltage line for the stand alone microwave which was going in. They had to run the wire from the kitchen, under the house and connect it to the breaker box in the garage. They did the job with no wasted effort and were on their way soon leaving a very happy customer.
Description of Work: I needed a new high voltage line run for a stand alone microwave oven. It was a very involved process which included finding room for a new circuit in my electric box. The crew that came had enough men to get the job done properly. They understood what needed to be done and they did it in a very efficient manner. When they finished, they did an excellent job cleaning up. I highly recommend Mr. Church and his employees for any electrical job you may have.

+ -1 moreChurch's Electric was excellent from start to finish. They came recommended from an appliance installer and he was right. Church's showed up on time, installed all new ceiling fan boxes in the ceiling, installed the fans, the lights, etc, answered all of our questions, and did it for a lower price than 2 other estimates we had. They dont advertise a lot, but if you ask around to anyone who has used them, you will hear nothing but positive recommendations and that is all you will get from me as well....a positive recommendation. Ive had two other electricians out at my house for other unrelated projects before calling Church's. My wife and I are really glad we finally found them to handle our electrical needs. Its owner/family operated and you can tell they really care about making sure each customer is happy. There really isnt anything else we can say about them other than we will definitely be using Church's for any electrical needs in the future. I want them to install a whole house generator next and upgrade the outside lights on my house. Thanks again for the great job Church's and we will be calling you again soon!
Description of Work: Church's installed 4 ceiling fan boxes, 4 new ceiling fans, several other new lights, and replaced some old and dangerous wiring splices from the previous owner of our house.

Description of Work: They were requested to hook up electrical connection for newly installed garbage disposal. This was a real challenge because new construction wiring was not easily located. They had to install a new line to provide power to the disposal. They offered several possible alternatives if no existing pre-wire could be found. They were able to make minimal intrusions into cabinets and walls to provide electrical service to the disposal. They were extremely efficient, explained the work to be done, proceeded to complete the job and cleaned up their work space meticulously. I cannot say enough good things about the two service providers--they showed up on time, completed their task and left me as one happy customer!
