He wanted to get paid before he finished. Said he would be back but never came. Did shoddy work. I took him to court over it and won a $640 judgement. File # CVD 988. He and his wife are both smooth talking con artists.

My wife found Dean on craigslist and called him. His wife Courtney handles the office. After my wife talked to Courtney, I called and talked to her. They had the lowest price out of 3 companies that I had contacted. On Sunday, before they were to come out, Courtney called me and said that they had a service call to go to before they came out to our house on Monday. On Monday mid morning she call back to let me know that the service call was taking longer than expected. She said that they would be out on Tuesday if it didn't rain or Wednesday if it did rain on Tuesday. I called her Tuesday morning and she said that they were on the way. About an hour later she called me and told me that they could not come out because it had started raining but promised me they would be there the next morning. On Wednesday, I called Courtney again and she informed me that they were on the way to my house. They in fact came out like they promised and installed a new heat pump. They were very professional and did a good job. They did not try to sell me anything other than what asked to buy. I would definitely recommend Dean to anyone that needs HVAC work done. I can not say enough good about this man. They kept me informed of any and all delays as they were happening.

We scheduled for the contractor to come out and replace the heat exchanger on our HVAC unit. We ended up having to reschedule due to weather but were able to get it done the following day. Eveything went smoothy and we are up and running again. Dean even went as far as checking the neighbors unit before leaving at no charge. I will use dean moving forward and have passed his name along as well.

During the work, he said he had to go out of town for a week, and promised he would finish when he came back. He asked to be paid in full, which I did. He never finished the job. He botched the job, causing the condensation to flood the circuit board, which ruined a completely new unit. He also kept the new coils which I had ordered. From the moment I paid him, the communication was almost nonexistent on their part (Courtney, his wife, handles the office communication and scheduling.) Because of this, I had to take them to court, and I am attaching the judgement that was awarded me due to his poor service, shoddy work, and bad communication. I hope others will see this before considering them to do any work. It took $495 for someone else to fix the problems he created, and the court awarded a total of $640.
