Laura was very helpful on the phone in scheduling a time that worked for me to have a grand piano loaded on a rental truck for me, as I was coming from Cincinnati, Ohio to pick it up. Greg & the guys arrived early, were very professional, friendly, careful, and strong. They knew what they were doing every step of the way, from packing to going through gravel, up 2 sets of steps outside, then into the rental truck, and strapping the piano to the truck wall. They also helped me by giving detailed advice on how to unload & set up the piano in our Cincinnati home. We just moved the piano into home last night; the piano was perfect and their directions about unloading & set up were perfect. Thank You All ! I have already recommended you to friends in North Carolina. I hope this review helps others to find an excellent moving company in the Western North Carolina area.

I used Smoky Mountain Movers twice in 2008. First when we sold a home in June and when we completed a major remodel in November. They moved our furnishing to a climatized storage facility and five months later when they moved us into another house once the remodeling was completed. This is a family owned and operated business who knows real customer service. I am a real estate broker in Highlands, NC and recommend them to all of my buyers and sellers and all have been extremely pleased with their services and prices.

They moved us twice. The first move was just a few things to furnish an apartment we were living in until our house sold. They just finished moving the rest of our things after closing. We ended up putting them in an uncomfortable situation. They moved some things to storage and the only storage we could was very small. They had to move our things into three different units and had to fit things like a puzzle to make it all fit. They never complained and stayed late into the night to get it finished. They made the move pleasant. They were very kind and also upbeat.
