WARNING: Read this review before you consider this company. This work was costly, slow, poor quality, and unfinished. In 2/17, I engaged Brian Perez, owner of this company to paint this newly renovated house. He began painting the outside immediately and got a good first coat on (first payment made on 3/1 and second 3/13 totaling $5790). In May he began inside and got a first coat on (paid $3500 5/1 and $3,000 5/8). And this is where the problems began. He sent me a bill for several thousand more than we agreed to in his original quote. He did not discuss needing more money before he sent the bill. When I called him he said there was more crown molding and closet shelving than he anticipated so he was charging .50/sq.ft.extra. I did not pay the extra and from this point on it was very difficult to get him back to the job. When he did come back, he insisted I needed flat paint because there were too many flaws in the sheetrock. The first coat was satin as I asked. I had the sheetrocker back to fix defects and Brian was still insistent I needed flat paint. I felt a lot of anger from Brian during this point of project. I finally agreed to flat paint to try and get him to finish. But he wanted more money- about $6,000 more than original deal. I agreed to this to try and get it finished and paid $4586 on 6/13 and another$3,000 on 6/30. In spite of payments, I could not get him to finish. He would promise to come , not show or call and then make excuses when I called him. In June he sent a couple of guys out twice but still didnt finish, even though he promised they would be there til completion. The guyys he did send left my water running 4-6 hours two different days before I found it was on. They also left trash in the house and yard. I finally got to the point in the late summer that I took a week and finished the painting myself. This isnt like me but I got so tired of begging him to finish I just couldnt do it any more. And the house was entirely finished and ready to go on the market for sale, except for the painting. So, bottom line is I paid almost $20,000 and had to finish the job myself and got flat paint instead of the satin I wanted. After you read this, if you want to still hire this company, make sure to get a written contract with specified completion dates of each component of work and fixed payments at designated intervals. After over 5 months, they didnt get my job finished. Based on my experience, the owner of this company is unreliable and I would grade his workers a "C" in workmanship. The owner himself told me he wasnt happy with the job his workers did on this job. Also, he told me he worked on site with his workers but that was rarely true. He only did so in the beginning of my job. I have definitely learned several lessons with this experience, the main one being to not hire this company again. I also plan to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and with Consumer Protection in the Attorney Generals office. I may file a complaint in small claims court too. This is the first time I have written a negative review on Angies List. I hope this saves a few people from having the very costly and stressful experience I did.

Unprofessional. Money paid but work was not satisfactory and not completed. Sloppy. Did not protect floor, hardware. Would not return to job site or compensate me for incomplete work. Employs illegal immigrants. Spent tremendous amount of time on personal phone calls and cursing workers at other job sites. Would not recommend them. Scam artists.
