They have a great show room. They sent us home with cabinet doors to look at home. They will bring samples to you, if you'd like. They came and measured and even re-measured. Joyce is patient and has good suggestions. Our cabinets are just gorgeous! Somehow some paint got chipped off, but they came back and spent about 5-6 hours restoring it.

So far our experience has been visiting the showroom and looking at the cabinets. It has been fantastic. I want to wait until we actually have the cabinets and have them installed. I would give them an 'A' on everything. Based on our experience, we would use them in the future. They should be installed by the middle of August the latest.

It was a nightmare. They guarantee that I have to receive my cabinets in 4 weeks and it took 6 months. They had to re-cut both pieces of the cabinet and I caught the initial measurement when I was signing off of them and maintained them. I pointed it out. Both pieces of granite must be re-cut. There's no appointment at all but it's a small job. I ended up paying for the price even though I didn't get what I needed.

When we decided to remodel our 1970s kitchen, I researched and evaluated numerous cabinet companies....from the big box stores to specialty design companies. Charles' Cabinets offered free consultation (equivalent to the consultations that one design company charged us for). In comparing the equivalent quality of cabinetry among the companies, the cost of Charles' was significantly less than their competitors. Pull out drawers (extras for other designers), knobs/handles, shelves were all included in the cost...still lower than other comparisons. They patiently worked with us in several design changes as we decided on how to best utilize space, and made excellent suggestions on layout and design. Even in the choice of wood stains, they listened to what I thought I wanted, then stained several pieces of wood so I could choose. Other companies I dealt with offered standard blocks of stain...no degree of difference lighter or darker. Charles' worked with our contractor in timing and delivered as expected. Installation was professional and excellently done. They even included a spice cabinet in a small pull out cabinet...a surprise feature that has been a great asset! The beauty and quality of these cabinets is of the highest standard. After completing the kitchen, I sent Charles' a photo. Upon seeing it, Joyce suggested an additional 'valance' be put on a shelf above our sink to hide a light that been installed....at no charge! To say they had excellent customer service is an understatement. I would highly recommend Charles' Cabinets for quality, customer service and price.

I updated my master bath. This is the first major renovation that I performed on my house. There was a lack of information sharing between the cabinet maker, the general contractor (Trend Marks) and me, and resulted in a $1400.00 overage that hit my pocket. The cabinet designer and I had two different ideas for a cabinet to hide clutter. I'm thinking of a small shelving unit above the counter top, she's thinking of a large 12 foot high, double door linen closet. I rejected the first idea and reluctantly accepted her second idea, purely because I'm a horrible interior decorator. Now that the cabinets are installed, I'm disappointed. To give an example, the new cabinet "to hide clutter" would also have to be a medicine cabinet. The designer and I choose a roll out drawer to put medicine. When it was actually installed, the roll-out shelf was more than 5 1/2 feet off the ground. (In other words, most average height woman wouldn't be able to see into the shelf). Further, the interior cabinets were not sanded well before they were installed.
