i walkedrentals unlimited office on 4/27/2014, looking into available properties for rent. I should have known the minute I walked in these people would not be able to handle making repairs that would be needed for any of the rentals they maintained being they only have 4 people that work there that includes their "Repair man" which is by the way the owners husband, against my better judgement I decided to give the place a chance. I moved in on they gave me a piece of paper with a bunch of vacant properties available for rent, I scanned the list found the 3 that were in my price range they gave me keys to all the properties. I asked for I went to each one and picked the one that would best suit my needs. I made a list on my phone of the repairs the house would need that I could see. a hole in the wall behind the door from where the knob had went through at some point of time. and I had noticed the toilet was quite lose from the floor also under the kitchen sink the pipe was broken. I went back into the office gave them the keys and gave them the piece of paper I had copied the repairs needed from my phone. they assured me they would be fixed before my move in date. I signed the lease agreement paid my cash and went home to start packing.. Moving day... 5/1/2014 I go rent a uhaul and started to bring my things over to my new place. the first night I bring all my essentials after I was done moving things in for the day I started to clean my new home vacuum dusting etc. walk into the kitchen turn the water on all of a sudden water starts coming out from under the sink. I open the cabinet the drain had not been repaired nor anything else that was on the list. the next morning I call them... No answer, so I leave a message, then continue bringing more of my things to my new home, 1 day goes by I hear nothing, 2 days nothing 3 days nothing by the 3rd day I had all my stuff in the house and had more time to address the situation so I return the uhaul and me and my mother drive down there. I walk into the office and ask to speak with the owner she comes to the counter and speaks with me. I tell her what I need repaired so she told me she would have someone out right away, next day her husband comes out and puts in a new drain for the kitchen sink and leaves. nothing else on my list was repaired but I thought hey at least the main problem was done. a few months later something happened and I had no power in half of my house i call them same thing no answer i leave a message wait a few days no response no one sent out... so i repeat the same process and go in and tell them whats going on same day the owners husband shows up looks at everything can't figure it out so calls an electrician finally problem fixed.. finally its almost the end of my lease so i walk in on 3/2/2015 and let the owner and her "assistant" know that i would be moving at the end of my lease they say ok. so i move all my stuff out by 5/1/2015 by 5/2/2015 i give them their key then inquire about my deposit. i was told by the owner i would not get my deposit because there was a hole in the wall and the bottom of the cabinet under the sink was rotting from water damage. so i explained the hole was there and that wouldn't have happened if they would have fixed the problem when they said they had so then she tells me also i wouldn't be getting my deposit back because i didn't give them a months notice, when i did. so if you want to use these guys and deal with unprofessionalism rudeness and over all lack of knowing how to run rental properties more power to you. so not the rental company for me.
