Services we don't offer
We do not work on Residential properties. We will work on multi family commercial buildings.
WNC exceeded our expectation. We interviewed several roofers. While WNC Roofing was not the cheapest, they were the most thorough. The work was exceptional as well as the service. If you want a quality job, I highly recommend them.
Description of Work: We have a contemporary home with flat roof. We needed a new roof, gutters, and work to the chimney.

Sean the owner is not Professional and refuses to ever take responsibility. He is never on the job site and every time we asked where the supervisor was it was always a different person. After numerous leaks into the building and Sean being called out to discuss a 6 week job turned into a 4 month ordeal and the end result was a strong rain came through and the workers did not properly cover and secure the roof and the ceiling fell in on the top floor causing flooding to the floors below and extensive damage that Sean still is refusing to take responsibility for. The building has been condemned and this company should never be allowed to work again.

ABSOLUTELY a waste of time and an absolute joke of a business. A two week project for snow rails, nearly two months later, still no rails. First product was wrong color (blamed on vendor) with a supposed color guarantee. Spoke with their rep many times, who simply stopped calling. PLEASE, don't waste your time with this company!!!
Description of Work: WNC was supposed to do snow rails.

Sean Ross, who manages this company, acted in a very unprofessional way. His crew made several mistakes when he was not around to supervise them. This is despite my contract that stated skilled labor was to be used at a cost of $35/hour. In several instances, they destroyed items that were marked for salvage. When his crew damaged a newly installed security system, Mr.Ross agreed to replace the system at his expense; however, six months later, Smoky Mountain Systems contacted me because he had not paid his invoice. I paid Mr. Ross promptly for all contractual obligations and received a release of lien at the end of the work. Despite this, his creditors contacted me to find out why he had not paid them for services such as dumpster disposal. The worst thing is that he told them I had not paid him. Anyone can understand bankruptcy, but it is highly unprofessional to blame your clients who have paid you in good faith. I would highly advise against doing business with either Aptcon or WNC Roofing. This is the same person and he has proved himself untrustworthy.
Description of Work: The provider as APTCON (now bankrupt and working as WNC roofing) performed a demolition of the interior of our house due to mold.

4 months prior to their last visit, we had WNC roofing come to inspect and give us a quote on fixing a leak over our roof. Sean, the owner, came as well as someone else and said the ridge caps needed to be replaced and that they could do it the next day and the cost would be $375. We agreed, one guy came the next day and was not on the roof long. That should have been my first clue. Honestly I am not sure if the leak continued over the course of the next 4 months because I was naive enough to think that they actually fixed what they said they would. In July, during a heavy downpour, I heard a trickling noise when I was in the garage and went in the attic and saw that it was leaking in the exact same spot that they were supposed to have fixed in March. I emailed Sean and he said they'd be out to look. One guy, Robert, came out and said there were nail holes there that needed to be caulked and that that would fix the problem. He didn't go in the attic when I asked if he needed to look. That night it rained and I checked and it was still leaking. I email Sean again and he says they'll be out, but I don't hear back from him for almost 2 weeks. I email him again and he says he will send someone out but first tries to get me to confirm that I will pay by the hour. Robert comes out the next day and he informs me that the problem is my ridge caps and that we needed to replace them all! Now, this is what they were supposed to have done 4 months prior! He obviously did not know this. I ask if he's sure they are all old, and he says yes. I immediately call Sean to find out why. I was calm and asked for a detailed description of what was really done originally and he cuts me off, raised his voice, and accused me of not trying to pay him. Then after telling him several times that was not why I was calling - I wanted to know why work wasn't done that I paid for, he tells me to never call him again and hung up on me. Thankfully Robert who was still here was professional and stayed and replaced the one ridge cap over where it was leaking. I emailed Sean back and forth later that day and through 5 emails, he changed his story each time and finally admitted in the last one that work wasn't done that was supposed to be and that "unfortunately I'm only as good as my employees".
Description of Work: Originally they were supposed to replace ridge caps on my roof, but I found out later that they never did.
