Take Heed!! Do Not Hire This Man - Here's Why/My Experience: We've owned 7 houses using dozens of contractors over the years, and this will be the first time we will file charges on anyone for anything. Ever. Maybe Curtis Lavar Davidson took a job outside his competence? I don't know, but here's what happened: For a supposed "expert", how do you explain using a satin finish xylene based concrete sealer on our 35 degree slopped driveway and applying that sealer over the Sika self-leveling caulk he used for our expansion joint repair? This incompetence resulted in 1) a super slippery surface when wet that is unfit for use i.e. personal injury lawsuits and 2) the xylene applied over the expansion joint caulk is widely known among professionals and the manufactures, to destroy/corrupt the caulk and rendering it ineffective for its purpose. But now Curtis has gone M.I.A. and is not responding to any form of communication. He is not standing by his 5 year warranty. The last time I saw him he told me he moved to a different state. I'm guessing by the 10+ addresses listed for him in the last 10 or so years on his background check, moving every year or two must be part of his business model to avoid litigation. Just an educated opinion. We are now having to spend close to the same $4,700 we paid Curtis, to remove the sealer and have the expansion joint caulk removed and re-installed. 90% of the wok he did. It looked ok the day he finished, we paid him, but it wasn't raining and the caulk had not turned super sticky and different colors. We offered a reasonable compromise but all we hear back is crickets. Who behaves like this? My opinion of Curtis is that he does not live by the golden rule, has no accountability or sense of responsibility. He cares not for his customers but only for his own self interests. His behavior is just wrong and not what good humans do. You should not hire Curtis because he does not stand by his work/warranty. As Dr. King said “The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy." Unfortunately, my experience is that Curtis doesn't stand at all - he runs and hides. Do Not Hire This Man!

My friend got me the job I worked a total of 17 hours which was at a rate of $12hr under the table coming to a total of $204. It wasn't working out on the and I told Curtis what was going on but said I'd finish the day which he agreed upon and said I'd be paid a few hours later that evening. After numerous text messages and voicemails I waited until the next day. The following day again calls & text ignored after calling my buddy and texting him curtis called because I said i was going to north Carolina dept of labor wage and labor dispute division. He said after they get done the job their on I'll be paid. Now this pay is under the table thru cashapp but from llceliteconcepts tithe business account so I got a deposit of $130 which was $74. Short of the amount I worked for and was promised also after I spoke with him he said quote "if i stopped calling and texting like a HO I'll get paid that he wipes his *** in the morning with $200" at this time still no pay . he went on and in text that I sent into the irs tax fraud dept as well and dol dept of wage and labor for not reporting employee wages as well as not giving me the agreed upon amount which I have messages screenshot of saying he would. Terrible fuy to work for cuts corners he called FINAGLING basically being cheap not doing top work and unprofessional, arrogant pompous and all around scum watch and research who you hire.

I was having railings installed in my newly poured concrete stairs. I wanted to have the stairs stained and the iron worker installing the railings requested that the staining be done first. I contacted Curtis (the owner of Elite Concepts) and we set up an appointment to view the project. He never showed, blaming traffic, and requested a photo instead. Upon viewing the photo, he set a date for the job which required a $330.00 deposit for the $546.56 concrete stair staining job. He called the day before to say he wouldn't be able to make it . It put me in a difficult position, as the railing installation had been set for a few days later. It was too late to get another concrete stainer, so I was stuck. We set another date for staining and I postponed the railing installation. He cancelled again and again. I finally gave up and asked for my deposit to be returned. He never responded to my request and I'm still waiting for that deposit. My next step is BBB and Small Claims Court. Save yourself the trouble and stay away. Read some of the other bad reviews he's gotten. I should have believed them.

Weather was an issue causing several delays, but they did not give up and finished the job. It looks great. Curtis is a pleasure to work with, very accommodating, hard worker, desires to please and a man of his word.

Excellent experience. Curtis is extremely friendly, helpful and professional. The work was done in a timely and efficient manner, and Curtis maintained great communication with us as to the steps involved. The finished product looks amazing! We are very pleased.

Curtis is pleasant and professional. I believe him to be very eager to please and possess a genuine caring attitude towards his work. Installation day was a very long day but he stayed with it until it was complete. There are still some touch ups to trim and work area but I'm not concerned even a little that he'll take care of it. The epoxy was installed and it became cold that night which probably lengthened the cure time longer than the 6 hours... 10 hours later I checked and it seemed fine but noticed I was leaving foot marks! Scary with the amount paid but Curtis assured me we could deal with it; again, a genuine nice guy. I would recommend Curtis for any epoxy or concrete needs. I plan to use him again for some concrete staining.

They showed up on time for the estimate and for the actual work to be done! They were very professional and knowledgeable when it came to flooring. The floor turned out so great that my husband now wants them to do the garage! Thanks guys, I will be calling you in the future!
