Just called Elmore and Assoc. and talked to David. He was extremely friendly and helpful. He did not try to sell me a thing; he just answered my quetions thoroughly and provided professional and courteous advice. Going above and beyond what is necessary or even expected and for no cost; I will keep this number for future reference.

Mr. Elmore was prompt, responsive, clear in how he explained his fees and process. He explained things in a simple, direct way. He was professional, pleasant and did not condescend or talk down in any way. His letter was to the point but sufficiently detailed. While he recommended someone who could do some gutter repair, he did not "push" me to hire this person.

He did a good job. It was very fine. He was punctual.

We have a small crack in our walkout basement and wanted to have someone with structural expertise examine it and let us know if there was anything to be concerned about and any necessary repairs needed before finishing our basement. We contacted David and he came to our house the next day. He spent a couple of hours examining the inside and outside foundation. While he was here I ask him to take a look at a post on our lower deck that is loose. David followed up with a couple of phone calls and 3 days later sent a detailed letter with his assessment of both situations. The work needed is not great but he was detailed in his recommendations and even gave us a name of a licensed contractor to contact if we wanted to. I think David did a great job and we were very happy with his professionalism. We would definitely recommend him to someone looking for a fair assessment of a structural problem.

David Elmore was able to do an on-site inspection within 24 hours and did a good job with that. He made drawings promptly. He was probably not the cheapest in the world, but he was very accommodating and fair. He didn't nickel and dime me either. He was always available when I needed to speak with him. He had a great deal of patience and I recommend him highly. He explained things very well. I had to make sure the underlying supports were strong enough to hold a hot tub, and he found that they weren't. In order to make it work, it needed more structural support added on. He charges $125 an hour, which was a little bit more than others. After the site visit, he called and said it's not going to work and I can start drawings for the remidiation.
