All About Awnings

The county requires a permit with install details and when I requested the info this is the response I received from All About Awnings: I understand you and your husband may want every detail, but we don't provide that without a contract and deposit. I have more than I am comfortable with already in drawings before a deposit. Please try Air-Vent exteriors out of Asheville. They may be more willing to provide that up front. Recently had to have service as one of the struts damaged by wind. Service was prompt and fixed problem.

It took a bit longer than expected for awning to be ready for installation, but installation was done professionally.

appointment @ 2pm=no show. I called them. Rescheduled for 1/2 hour, Brandon stopped to say they were right behind him, they came over an hour later, with a different story. What should have been a 30 minute install took all afternoon.

Long story short. I had hired another local contractor to replace my awning. That did not go well at all. So many mistakes. I then hired All About Awnings to redo the awning. I could not be more pleased! Their workers knew what they were doing. I have received so many compliments of how the awning looks. The awning is solid on the rafters and does not move in the extreme wind. Thank You, Thomas and crew. I will recommend your company highly.

The representative from the Co. Came to my house to evaluate the job. He was very professional and prompt. He brought several materials and carefully explained the pros and cons of each for my particular application. We agreed on a fabric and price and they were able to make and deliver it on the agreed time.

The job was done while we were out of town & was complete when we returned. They even came back to show us how to operate the system.

Sales rep visited accessed need and provided the estimate to replace enacting awning. Removed old awning fabric. Fabrication took applying L/T works. Installation flawless fit perfect and fabric cut & sew outstanding very happy.

Mike from AAA measured for awnings. Was very helpful with suggestions on size & shape & color. Promised 5 wk delivery. It came right on time. There was a small glitch in the placement of the awning, but the problem was easily solved. Love it! We are so pleased we will order another awning for another door soon!

nThey arranged an appointment late in the afternoon at our convenience. He arrived promptly and was both courteous and helpful throughout the process of selecting a type of awning and awning material. He brought several books with material samples. He offered suggestions and was responsive to our preferences. He helped us decide where to place the awning, how long to make it and how far it should extend. There was an outdoor lighting unit in the way of our preferred location, which he was able to relocate. The whole process took less than an hour. The installation was scheduled and took place on the day it was supposed to. We came home to a completed installation. The awning is exactly what we agreed on and the installation is also exactly what we agreed to. It is attractive and works well. The company checked back with us to make certain that the whole project went well and that we were happy. The entire experience was a pleasure from beginning to end.

Everything as promised. Calls promptly returned. Managed a rush job just before a holiday. Totally friendly and professional.

The experience was flawless from start to finish. Jamin Kilpatrick came to help with the selection of what we needed to block the glare in our great room which faces west. He was extremely knowledgable of his products, and the estimate was reasonable. When the screens arrived, they called to make an appointment for installation. The installers were prompt and respectful. Before leaving they left the area spotless and explained how to operate the remotes. We wish all service businesses were this efficient!

The representative arrived on the date and time scheduled - a shock right there. He knew his product, he answered our questions, he was pleasant, clean, neatly dressed and drove a clean company vehicle. So we felt we were dealing with reputable professional company. We talked about our options for about an hour and made the decision to go with them without getting a price from anyone else. Incidentally, they had come highly recommended by our neighbors. The awning was supposed to be ready in 3 weeks - imagine our surprise when, two weeks later , we got a call saying had been received. Could the installers come that afternoon, they had a cancellation. Sure. Works for me. The installers arrived, on time and began the install - after about 2 hours they hit a problem - they called their shop, and called the company who had manufactured the product. By now it was 5:30 so no one was available. They continued to trouble shoot until after 7 PM, then told us they would return the next morning. Guess what? They came back around 10 AM, with the sales rep in tow. Yes, there was a problem (they didn't lie or cover it up) and no, they had never had it happen before; but, they now knew what it was and were going to fix it. They did. It took them another 2 1/2 hours, but they figured it out and repaired a problem that had happened in shipping. The awning is beautiful and works perfectly. My idea of a great company is not necessarily how easily the first step goes, but how they handle a problem. All About Awnings rates a AAA in my book.

Our sales rep Jamian Kilpatrick of All About Awnings was among the top tier of most professional sales reps I have ever worked with. He was well informed, did not over sell the product, offered great suggestions, never used any pressure in selling the product, always kept me informed on key information like delivery and installation dates, was thoughtful about minimizing traffic through our house during the installation (our awning was for a second story deck). When a neighbor decided to get an awning installed by him, he reduced the price on ours without my asking. Their price was not the lowest of the three quotes received, but it was not much more than the lowest and I placed a lot of value on having a good installation. In doing research on awnings, the problems people have tend to not be with the product but with the installation. Some installers do not do it right which leads to major headaches later on. I recommend All About Awnings and Jamian Kilpatrick.

The shades were measured correctly and were perfectly installed on the porch that is almost three stories off of ground level. All of the communication, schedule, and work was done extremely well, fast, and professionally. The company and workers were referred by friends that had the same excellent experience. Exceptional quality and service.
