I did not use them. They charge too much. They said that it was too small a job for them at that time. They were good. They came when they said they would; it was the same day that I called. Everything was good, but I just got a lower quote. I would not use or get a quote from them in the future.

The gentleman was very quick as far as the appointment and returning the call. He was very friendly. I would use them again in the future if need be.

The workers were fast, competent and were very responsive to what we wanted. The job was thoroughly discussed before hand and we knew exactly what we were getting. The work was performed very professionally and the house almost looked new after the job was done. The workmen cleaned up after the job. I have nothing bad to say about the experience.

I called several companies and had no luck getting anyone to come out and give me an estimate. I believe that since it was a small job most companies were not interested. I contacted veterans roofing on a Friday, Dennis and his crew were working in Southern Pines. Dennis drove to Fayetteville that evening to give me an estimate. The workers showed up the next morning and completed the work in about 5 hours. They were professional and cleaned up as they worked. Veterans Roofing has earned a spot in my speed dial and I will definitely use them for future home improvement projects.

They did well and the service was good. They did go over the estimate a little bit. They also did the carpet and they went over about $200on both of these. The work was really good on both of them. We would probably use them again.

We had just moved into this rental house and bought a new BBQ. We put the BBQ too close to the vinyl siding and it melted. A small piece and a very large piece. He originally quoted us $150 to replace the siding and send he'd have to come back after finding the right color. The next day he came back with some siding that was just a little off of the pale yellow color so he put the off colored pieces on the side of the house where no one would see it, and took the pieces from the side and put them where it was originally melted in the back. To top it off, he told us that he had obtained the pieces from another contractor as an extra so he only charged us $85! It looks perfect and who charges LESS THAN the quote??!! They were great!

Had to repair leak damage from upstairs

Veteran's Home Improvement was referred to me by another business that was too booked up to meet my deadline. I left a phone message with Veretan's and sent an e-mail V7 and have received NO response to either communication. Overall, since Veterans never responded to me, i wold rate them wiiht the lowest possible score -- maybe even a negative rating.

Estimate was provided in a timely fashion by email. Decided to go with another provider who quoted a lower price for the same service (Gutter installation).

I will not use them again in the future.

From the estimate to the completion of service this company provided excellent service.

The estimate went well. All of the roofers around here have been busy so it took a lot of time for them to come out and give me the estimate. When he came out, he brought a lot of paperwork with him. The estimate was fair, it wasn't the lowest or the highest. It did leak a little bit but I don't know if that's there fault. He was here exactly when he said he would be here.

I called them because we had some trim around our garage door that we wanted to replace with vinyl ones and because when WE took the trim out we noticed that there seemed to be some water damage underneath it on the so called black board. We called and they responded very quickly and we made an appointment for an estimate. I believe it was Rick that came out and he even called before he came by, actually one day earlier than talked about. So far so good. I had told him that we had what appeared to be some water damage. He got out of the car, shook my hand and very exuberant told me that he could see right away what the problem was... our garage door frame was sagging!!!! That was the reason why the trim had popped out and it would continue to do so because the wood support beam (my layman terms) that supports the weight from everything above the garage door was too small. He whipped out his measuring tape and measured here and there and with a lots of "aha, oh, mmhh" he even told me the percentage of the sagging. I finally told him that none of the trim had popped out on its own, that WE had taken it out and that I would like to know how he could tell that the beam was too small, because the beam is not visible, unless you take all the siding down and the blackboard underneath.. he told me that it is so because otherwise our garage door frame would not be sagging. He had me open the garage door and continued to measure and "ahhing and ohhing" and saying this is bad, this whole wall has to be replaced, etc. At this point I am mildly amused because I do find his dramatic way of measuring and waving the tape measurer around interesting. I dare to ask him what about the water damage that is visble and he says that it is not really anything but that would be fixed as well, plus a new,bigger support beam. All that is of course a lot more (taking down the siding, taking and replacing the black board, taking out the beam, putting in a newer one etc) then just fixing a little bit of black board. I told him that I did not really wanted the beam and my sagging garage door fixed at this time, I was more concerned about the water damage. He said: So you just want me to slap some wood on it? I do not do patch work." I said I would like to have the water damage repaired (which would also mean to take down the siding etc) but not the whole garage door frame plus the beam.Nevertheless I also told him that I would like to have an estimate on all of the repairs that HE recommends. Needless to say that I have not heard from him again. I had the water damage repaired by another company and 2 other companies came out for estimates and told me that there is nothing wrong with our support beam. As a matter of fact when our requested work was done we all had a look at the"exposed"beam and it was the right size. The frame was also not sagging at all. I would not use this company, unless I am prepared financially to go with all of his repair recommendations that may or may not be necessary. In our case it was not.

I had this company out for an estimate several weeks ago for remodeling of various areas in a new home we are purchasing. Rick came out to do the estimate and (as in typical shady contractor form) proceeded to make every simple upgrade I wanted sound vastly more complicated than it actually is. I happen to be a woman, a woman who has overseen several remodeling jobs in the past, and I frequently get this charade during estimates, because male contractors think we're too clueless to know the difference. I tolerated his antics and figured I would give him a chance and see if the quote came back reasonable. I was assured I would have an estimate within three days. A week later I had heard nothing back, so I contacted him and asked when I could expect the estimate. I was told, again, within three days, and he apologized for not having gotten to it sooner as he was suffering from a sinus infection. Now two weeks later I still haven't heard anything back. Completely unprofessional. I'm sure this guy will have an excuse, since he makes them in every other negative post, but I'm not the first person to complain about a general lack of responsiveness. I don't appreciate having my time wasted and will use a different company.

Contractor explained the situation with the flashing which was very helpful for my decision.

They showed up, Gave me an estimate. Stuck to the price 100% No inflates no overages what they quoted me was what it cost. I had to buy the materials and once the materials were there. Me and my wife went out of town. and they worked on my house when I wasnt there. We came back into town. and everything was in order and the bathrooms were done. It was a serious leap of faith to leave them in my house while I wasnt home. But it was worth it. I asked for an itemized list of expenditures and I never got one. Thats why they got a B in price.

The first time i called he called back that afternoon and told me over the phone that he could give me a better price than my lowest estimate up to that point. I was going out of town, so I told him i would call back in a couple of weeks to get him to come look at my kitchen then tile it. When i got back and called i left a message. He never returned my call. I called 3 other times over about a month and he never returned my calls. I would not recomend this contractor to anybody. Even though he says his prices are better, he is not available when he says he will be.

I called the company for an estimate on roofing repairs during regular business hours. No one answered the telephone but I left a clear message with my name, why I was calling and my telephone number. I repeated my name and telephone number at the end of the call. I spoke slowly and clearly. No one returned my call.

They were prompt and reliable in responding. I got several quotes and each contractor that I contacted came on time or early. They gave a good estimate and got back to me.

Everything went great. Their price was fine, work was good and on schedule.

They were on time. They did a great job cleaning up. They were polite and professional.

They did a great job from estimate to clean-up. They arrived on time, did what they were supposed to do and cleaned up the job site before they left. They did the whole roof in one day in the heat of summer. The roof looks beautiful, and we're very happy.

In his response he says I wanted to match the existing. I had no existing, I wanted all new. I wanted vinyl siding so I don't know what he is talking about. He must have me confused with someone else. Either way, He should have called to say he was not interested in doing the job. It was very unprofessional not to at least send some form of response!

Excellent On time, on budget and without issue. I would use and recommend this company's services again

Not well, I will never recommend Veterans, and am VERY disappointed.
