T&K claim to be professionals but their quality of work is amateur at best. I paid to have an existing slab that is 25 feet long widened by 8 feet for additional parking space. A retaining wall was required due to the slope of my property. T&K attempted to do the job with a single pour but did not use nearly enough bracing for the retaining wall. What I ended up with is a 25 foot long wall that looks like a snake, there is not a straight line on it, it was supposed to be 8 feet wide but is anywhere from 8 feet to 8 feet 7 inches depending on what part of the curve that you are on. T&K advertises quality work and responsibility for their work. When I asked the owner how he was going to fix the wall he walked back about 50 feet and said, " you can't even really see it from here". Then he offered to charge me another $1200 plus materials to fix it. I really wish I could post photos of the lousy job. If you hire these guys you will regret it.

We informed the homeowner before installing concrete, that it was necessary to install block retaining wall, being that he wanted to make his driveway a additional 6 feet wide add on, we explain to him that the hill was a little steep and that form's that holds the concrete might not support the weight of the concrete and it could cause the Concrete form to have a little bow on the outside of driveway extension, the homeowner was given a price to prevent this ordeal, he chose not to after it was explained, I had the homeowner to sign a contract stating everything that was explained and that he was responsible, he signed his signature, so proceeded with the job. He also stated he was not worried about the side being seen, because you couldn't see it from the front. Anyone who sees this bad review wants to see the contract that we explained and he signed, I am more than willing to show them, thank you and please do not let this discourage you we do great work, and one bad apple shouldn't sabotage years of experience and hender this business from moving forward and continue to make progress and continue providing work through out the state of North Carolina.
