Although the initial customer service and response time was good, the company certainly was a let down and we are taking our project business elsewhere. We called to get an estimate for a shower replacement and two friendly technicians came out within a few days. After their inspection, they said we would receive an estimate by the next morning and to call if we hadn't heard back. The next afternoon, we had still not heard from them and called to see if there was an issue. The receptionist said she had not yet received information from the technician, but that we would have our quote in three days on the following Monday. Monday came around and still no word. We called back and got the same story, that no information had been submitted to the office by the technician and that we would get our quote within a couple days. On the 13th day after the inspection, we called back for at least the fourth time to see what was going on. They said we should have our quote within a couple hours because the report was finally submitted to the office. We received the quote via email and it wasn't even the correct quote we initially requested. Very disappointing and a total waste of time. To specify, it was a simple quote to replace a stand up shower. The technicians had taken a couple pictures and said that it would be quick and easy for for them to give us a quote. It shouldn't have taken more than the initial day to put something together.

The water drains were backed up throughout the house. I called McKenzie Plumbing in the morning. They said they were booked solid but would fit me in that same day. Late that afternoon their service technician (Sven) came. He located the main clean-out connection just outside the house. After only a few minutes he was able to pressure out the pipe leading to the main sewer line at the road. This unclogged the drain and the sewer was flowing freely. However, three days later the sewer backed up again. This time Sven came out within two hours. He put a pluming snake down the clean-out this time but could not clear the line. He then checked the clean-out connection at the road and found the main PWC sewer line was blocked. Sven called PWC and they came within an hour and worked for 4 hours to clear the clog. Throughout the whole process McKenzie Plumbing and Sven treated me like they put the customer first. I highly recommend their services.

crew had to go out and get parts twice causing job to last 3+ hours

McKenzie Plumbing was great. I called after business hours thinking I would get their answering machine. Instead, I spoke with one of their plumbers. I explained my problem and he said he had that part on his truck and he could come by the same evening. The pluymber showed up around 10:30 pm and fixed my water heater. He did not charge overtime/after-hour rates. I was impressed and appreciative. Highly recommended!

Worker showed up and put shoe covers to walk in house (great) and checked out kitchen sink. He immediately went under house, found problem. Told me that he had to replace some pipes. I laid down while he replaced the pipes, he came back in and tightened up all the pipes under the sink and told me, all done. Super great job and very fast. Thanks

I was very pleased that they came out on a Saturday morning to do the work. The gentleman that did the work was very pleasant and professional. The cost of the heater was about what I expected. What I didn't expect and was very displeased with was the installation fee. The installation fee was just under the price of the heater, costing me $400.00. I considered that way out of line for the amount of time it took the service man to complete the work (just over 1 hour). I suppose that's my bad for not inquiring into that before the service man came out. It will factor into my decision in the future to whether or not I use them again

They came over right away and replaced 2 spickets in about 30 minutes. Excellent job.

My call to the office was very pleasant. She discussed the types of HWH's they use, sizes, and approximate costs. She also reminded me to print the Angie's List discount coupon to give to the plumber. Mac and Doc were here when they said they would be, and were VERY courteous. They let me know what they were doing as their work progressed. I had a new HWH installed within a few hours of my initial call to the office. I had a question the next day, called the office, and Mac returned my call to discuss my question and provide an answer. Very pleased with the way it was all handled the day of the installation.

I called the office at 8:30 a.m. and had a call back from the tech (Mac) at 9:30 or so. He was there by 10:00, we discussed the fact that my 14 y/o water heater was bad. He immediately prepped the area for replacement, ordered the water heater and then left at 11 or so to go get it. He was delayed getting back due to an emergency water line break that required him to deviate but was still back by 1:00 even after having repaired that break in the other customer's basement. My water heater was installed by 3:00 p.m.. Mac also had a very polite/professional young veteran as an assistant and both of them went to extremes to avoid getting my floors dirty. I couldn't be more pleased and we now call ourselves as having found 'our plumber.' Mac did nothing that he didn't first explain and fielded every question we had.I suppose I could have found someone to do it a tad cheaper, but I'm a believer in you get what you pay for. I wholeheartedly recommend McKenzie Plumbing.

it was in a difficult place. They fix it better than it was originally. very pleased with there work. it was kinda expensive but it was above my skill level.

Scheduled appointment a week in advance. The morning the service was to be conducted, I called to confirm that they were going to be present because it was a day or two after Hurricane Matthew (I wasn't sure if they were going to be working). The phone receptionist stated that they had cancelled the appointment. I am disappointed in their worth ethic in that if I had not called, I probably would have waited around all morning. When I made the appointment, the receptionist was friendly over the phone, however on the day she cancelled the work, she was extremely rude and pretty much everything except receptive. Collectively Terrible customer service.

Called around 8:30am. They were out here and fixed the leak within two hours after making the call. Sven and his coworker which I didn't get his name were outstanding. Would use and recommend.

The first time McKenzie's Plumbing Co Inc came out we were un able to re-create the leak. They did a through job of checking all shower fixtures and plumbing behind the wall without finding the source. It was decided that water splashing over onto our cracked grout might have been the source of the leak. Over the next week I repaired and resealed the tile grout myself, put the kids back in the tub and the leak persisted. McKenzie's Plumbing Co Inc came back out the next day at no charge and proceeded to cut a hole in our ceiling and another hole in the drywall. We were then able to confirm that the tub had small hole in the side that was pouring water through the sub-floor and making its way to our smoke alarm. McKenzie's Plumbing Co Inc then referred me to another company that was able to repair all damage done to our ceiling and drywall. I will be using McKenzie's Plumbing Co Inc again in the future.

I called McKenzie's at 11:45am. The person I spoke with listened to my description of the problem and then took my information. She said that the techs were busy but that they'd get to me before the end of the day. A little over an hour later I got a call from the tech took who told me he was on the way and should be at my house in about 40 minutes. He arrived close to when he thought he would and immediately went to work. He replaced the leaking pipe, tested to make sure the new pipe wasn't leaking, then offered advice on how best to dry the area under the sink where the leak had been. He was very friendly, professional, and helpful. Excellent customer service!

Could not have been better. I have found an honest plumber. I called Mckenzies at about 2pm on the 11th. By 3pm Sven arrived and spent over an hour on our roof trying to unplug the clog. He advised us that the repair was going to be a pretty big job costing apptoximately $500. We agreed and Sven and Phillip arrived the 12th on time and started the repair. About 20 minutes after they arrived Sven came in and said the job would be much easier than they thought at 1/2 the cost. They could have done the easier job and never told us any differently on the cost. That is honesty. Great job. Plus Angie's list discount. I have already recommened them to a friend. I will never use another plumber if at all possible.
